Today, as I was working in the back a woman came and enjoyed our cafe. She’d told Vicky she felt so welcomed in our space, to let me know, and she left this book in the bookshelf. The thought and kind words alone are so special. But not only that… a couple days ago I had made it a mission to fill this shelf with books… Cory; if you see this post thank you for stopping by, for sharing what the space meant to you, and for this gift to the studio. It was so nice seeing the space filled with people getting creative. I loved seeing our members join in, along with some new friends coming through the door 🤗

In case you didn’t know… our shala got a makeover. It was time to let go and head into a new chapter. Time to make sure this warm space was being used to its fullest!

We finally have proper desks (handmade by 😱❤️) , comfy chairs, and a quieter space for focused work.

But you know me… this is just the start. And the space will for sure continue evolving. Creating a comfy, creative, inspiring space that feels like home… If you’re curious, come check it out! 🤗

This weekend The EMPWR celebrated 2 years since our grand opening in September 2024… time flies!! Even to think back on where we were 1 year ago and how much has changed since. Thank you everyone for coming and for celebrating. Can’t wait to spend another year together, continuing building this amazing community 🥰❤️🥳

Throwback to that time we built a trollmobile for Carrera de camas disfrazadas, aka the bedrace. This one definitely goes down as one of my favorite EMPWR memories. Can’t wait to do it again in 2027! 🫶🏼 🛌💨

The EMPWR is entering a new chapter. 🫶🏼

We’re saying goodbye to our beloved yoga shala, and turning the space into something new: a bigger, more comfortable coworking & creative space.

No rows of generic desks or ugly office chairs. You know me better than that. 😉
