Heute verabschieden wir einen sehr schönen Teil unserer Familie – mit einem Herzen voller Emotionen.

Bella und ihre kleinen Bellitos,
wir sahen gemeinsam zu, wie sie geboren wurden und wir haben sie aufwachsen sehen, nun machen sie sich zusammen mit Lola und Lo**ta auf den Weg nach Deutschland, wo ein neues Leben auf sie wartet.

haben unsere Bretonen die Möglichkeit, all die Liebe, die in ihnen steckt,
an Familien zu verschenken,
die sie mit offenen Armen empfangen.

Wir möchten uns von ganzem Herzen bei Alex und dem gesamten Team von Bretonen-in-Not.de bedanken,
dass sie erneut Vertrauen in unsere Hunde setzen, ihnen die Türen zu einem so schönen Leben öffnen,
wie sie es verdienen, und zeigen, dass Teamarbeit wirklich alles verändern kann.

Bye bye bretones de nuestro corazón 🩷

Hoy despedimos una parte muy bonita de nuestra familia con el corazón lleno de emoción.

Bella y sus pequeños Bellitos que hemos visto nacer y crecer, junto a Lola y Lo**ta, emprenden el viaje hacia Alemania, donde les espera una nueva vida. Gracias a Alex y a Bretonen-in-Not.de, nuestros bretones tendrán la oportunidad de repartir todo el amor que llevan dentro a familias que los esperan con los brazos abiertos.

Queremos agradecer de todo corazón a Alex y a todo el equipo de Bretonen-in-Not.de por confiar una vez más en nuestros perros, por abrirles las puertas a una vida tan bonita como ellos y por demostrar que el trabajo en equipo es capaz de cambiarlo todo.

Goodbye to our beloved Bretons 🩷

Today we say goodbye to a very special part of our family, with hearts full of emotion.

Bella and her beautiful puppies, whom we’ve had the joy of seeing born and grow up, together with Lola and Lo**ta, are setting off on their journey to Germany, where a wonderful new life awaits them. Thanks to Alex and Bretonen-in-Not.de, our beloved Bretons will have the chance to share all the love they have to give with families who are waiting to welcome them with open arms.

We would like to thank Alex and everyone at Bretonen-in-Not.de from the bottom of our hearts for once again placing their trust in our dogs, for opening the door to the happy future they so deserve, and for showing that teamwork really can change lives.

We wish you all a safe journey, little ones. Be very happy.

Heute möchten wir Helen von Project Galgo aus England und unseren Brüdern und Schwestern von Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. – ganz besonders Bianca – von ganzem Herzen danken.
Sie haben es möglich gemacht,
dass unser geliebter Boli endlich die Familie gefunden hat, die er so sehr verdient. Boli ist ein Galgo-Großvater, dem es im Tierheim von Tag zu Tag schlechter ging. Dank der Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Vereinen erwartet ihn nun ein Leben voller Liebe, Ruhe und ein Zuhause, in dem er für immer geliebt wird. 🥰

Gleichzeitig möchten wir die Gelegenheit nutzen, um der Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. noch einmal dafür zu danken, dass sie das Leben von Sía für immer verändert hat. Sía kam mit unendlicher Angst zu uns. Sie war eine Hündin, die von Misshandlung gezeichnet war – mit körperlichen und seelischen Wunden und sogar mit Symptomen, die auf den Konsum von Drogen hindeuteten.
Wenn man sie damals sah und sie heute erlebt, glaubt man, zwei völlig verschiedene Hunde vor sich zu haben.😍

Hoy queremos dar las gracias de corazón a Helen de Project Galgo de Inglaterra y a nuestros hermanos de Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V., muy especialmente, a Bianca, por hacer posible que nuestro querido Boli, un galgo abuelo que cada día lo pasaba peor en el refugio, haya encontrado por fin la familia que tanto merecía, gracias a la colaboración entre asociaciones. Ahora le espera una vida llena de cariño, tranquilidad y un hogar donde será querido para siempre. 🥰

Y queremos aprovechar también para agradecer una vez más a Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. por haber cambiado para siempre la vida de Sía.

Sía llegó a nosotros con un miedo inmenso. Era una galga marcada por el maltrato, con secuelas físicas y emocionales, incluso con signos compatibles con el consumo de dr**as. Verla entonces y verla hoy parece hablar de dos perros diferentes. 😍

Boli, Sía and the Power of Teamwork. ❤️

Today we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Helen from Project Galgo in England and to our friends at Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. – especially Bianca – for making it possible for our dear Boli, an elderly galgo who was finding life in the shelter harder with each passing day, to finally find the loving family he so deserved through the collaboration between our rescue organisations.
A wonderful new chapter now awaits him, filled with love, comfort and the security of a forever home where he will be cherished for the rest of his life. 🥰

We would also like to take this opportunity to once again thank Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. for transforming Sía’s life.

Sía came to us utterly terrified. She was a galgo deeply traumatised by abuse, carrying both physical and emotional scars, with signs even suggesting she may have been exposed to drugs. Looking at her then and looking at her now, it is hard to believe she is the same dog. 😍

To everyone and every rescue organisation who walks alongside us, thank you. Once again, together we have shown that happy endings really do exist. ❤️

Einige gehen und wie immer kommen andere an…

Dank eurer Hilfe und dank der Tatsache, dass unsere Jungs in ihr neues Zuhause reisen, können wir weiterhin so vielen Tieren helfen, die uns brauchen.

Während die einen endlich das Leben beginnen, das sie schon immer verdient haben, kommen andere mit Geschichten zu uns, die einen Neuanfang verdienen.

Ares, ein Welpe von gerade einmal 7 Monaten, wurde wegen familiärer Probleme abgegeben. Zum Glück hat Lorraine von Galgos Podencos Mastins Balades asbl ihm die Türen zu einer neuen Chance geöffnet.

Gin wurde an einen Baum gebunden aufgefunden, bis die Auffangstation ihn abholte. Dank unserer Freundin & Schwester Alex und ihrem Verein Bretonen-in-Not.de hat er nun neue Möglichkeiten.

Gordita landete nach dem Tod ihres Besitzers in der Auffangstation und verlor von heute auf morgen das Zuhause, das sie kannte, und ihre einzige Familie. Zudem kam sie mit einer Gebärmutterentzündung (Pyometra) und einem Tumor an einer sehr empfindlichen Stelle zu uns...

Candi wurde von einem Jäger ausrangiert. Ein weiteres Opfer dessen, was wir jeden Tag erleben. Kaputte Werkzeuge, die eines Tages nicht mehr nützlich waren. Danke an Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V., dass ihr immer für unsere Galgos da seid.

King und Jaco wurden von ihren Familien im Stich gelassen. Sie überleben nun schon seit mehr als drei Jahren in einer Auffangstation und sehen die Tage vergehen, ohne dass jemand nach ihnen fragt – mit ihren 12 und 13 Jahren und ihren Mäulern, die buchstäblich verfault sind und in Stücken herausfallen.So sieht unser Alltag aus.

Wenn ein Platz frei wird, füllt sich ein anderer mit einer neuen Geschichte des Verlassenseins.

Deshalb hören wir nie auf, euch um Hilfe zu bitten. Denn hinter jeder Rettung stehen Tierarztkosten, Futter, Transport, Medikamente und sehr viele Arbeitsstunden. Ohne euch wäre all das nicht möglich.Wir werden weiter für sie kämpfen. Weil alle eine zweite Chance verdienen.

Bienvenidos pequeños ♥️

Unos se van y, como siempre, otros llegan…

Gracias a vuestra ayuda y a que nuestros chicos viajen a sus nuevas casas, podemos seguir ayudando a tantos animales que nos necesitan.

Mientras unos empiezan por fin la vida que siempre merecieron, otros llegan con historias que merecen comenzar de nuevo.

Ares, un cachorro de tan solo 7 meses, ha sido cedido por problemas familiares. Por suerte, Lorraine, de Galgos Podencos Mastins Balades asbl, le ha abierto las puertas a una nueva oportunidad.

Gin fue encontrado atado a un árbol hasta que la perrera lo recogió y gracias a nuestra amiga y hermana Alex y su asociación Bretonen-in-Not.de tiene nuevas posibilidades.

Gordita terminó en la perrera tras el fallecimiento de su dueño, perdiendo de un día para otro el hogar que conocía y a su única familia. Además llegando a nosotros con una piometra y un tumor en una zona muy delicada...

Candi ha sido desechado por un cazador. Una víctima más de lo que vivimos cada día. Herramientas rotas que un día dejaron de servir. Gracias Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. por estar siempre ahí para nuestros galgos.

Y King y Jaco fueron abandonados por sus familias y llevan ya más de tres años sobreviviendo en una perrera, viendo pasar los días sin que nadie pregunte por ellos, con 12 y 13 años y sus bocas, literalmente, podridas y cayéndose a trozos.

Así es nuestro día a día. Cuando un hueco se queda libre otro se llena con una nueva historia de abandono.

Por eso nunca dejamos de pediros ayuda. Porque detrás de cada rescate hay gastos veterinarios, alimentación, transporte, medicación y muchísimas horas de trabajo. Sin vosotros, nada de esto sería posible.

Seguiremos luchando por ellos. Porque todos merecen una segunda oportunidad.

Welcome, little ones. ❤️

Some leave, and as always, others arrive…

Thanks to your support, and because our dogs are travelling to their new homes, we can continue helping so many animals who desperately need us.

While some are finally beginning the life they have always deserved, others arrive with stories that deserve a fresh start.

Ares, just a 7-month-old puppy, was surrendered due to family circumstances. Thankfully, Lorraine from Galgos Podencos Mastins Balades asbl has opened the door to a new chance for him.

Gin was found tied to a tree until he was taken in by the municipal shelter. Thanks to our dear friend and sister Alex, and her association Bretonen-in-Not.de, he now has hope for a better future.

Gordita ended up in the shelter after her owner passed away, losing overnight the only home and family she had ever known. She also arrived suffering from a pyometra and a tumour in a very delicate area…

Candi was discarded by a hunter—another victim of what we witness every single day. Once they are no longer useful, they are simply thrown away. Thank you to Galgorettung Fränkisches Seenland e.V. for always being there for our galgos.

And King and Jaco were abandoned by their families and have spent more than three years surviving in a shelter, watching the days go by while no one asks about them. They are now 12 and 13 years old, and their mouths are literally rotting, with teeth falling apart.

This is our everyday reality. Whenever one space becomes free, it is immediately filled by another story of abandonment.

That is why we never stop asking for your help. Behind every rescue are veterinary bills, food, transport, medication, and countless hours of hard work. Without you, none of this would be possible.

We will continue fighting for them, because every animal deserves a second chance.

Nach dem Einkaufen,
als wir mit dem Auto durch Alcalá del Río fuhren, sahen wir die erschütternde Szene eines Jägers, der Galgos trainiert, indem er sie mit einem Motorrad mitten durch ein Dorf hinter sich herzieht – bei extremen Temperaturen,
JULI IN SEVILLA, HITZEWARNSTUFE ORANGE – und dabei völlig die Bedürfnisse der armen Hunde ignoriert, die am anderen Ende der Leine laufen.

Das Gesetz 7/2023 zum Schutz der Rechte und des Wohlergehens von Tieren verbietet Trainingsmethoden,
die Leiden, Stress, Erschöpfung verursachen oder die Gesundheit der Tiere gefährden, einschließlich des Einsatzes von motorisierten Fahrzeugen unter solchen Umständen.

Und dennoch wiederholen sich solche Szenen weiterhin.

WIEDER EINMAL DURCH DIE HAND VON GALGUEROS, DIE TÖTEN.

Ein weiteres Mal fragen wir euch,
liebe Politik: Wozu dienen Gesetze, wenn sie nicht eingehalten werden?
Wie viele Anzeigen braucht es noch, damit es Kontrollen, abschreckende Sanktionen und eine echte Anwendung der Vorschriften gibt, deren Umsetzung so viel Mühe gekostet hat?
Gesetze, die maßgeschneidert für Jäger sind, damit diese die Konsequenzen nicht tragen müssen.
Lockere, nachgiebige und unzureichende Gesetze, die diejenigen schützen, die misshandeln, anstatt diejenigen, die Schutz brauchen.

Ein weiteres Mal fragen wir:
WANN HÖREN WIR AUF,
EIN LAND ZU SEIN, DAS SEINE HUNDE MISSBRAUCHT?
WIE LANGE WIRD DAS NOCH GEDULDET?
ES REICHT.

Diese institutionelle Gleichgültigkeit kostet das Leben so vieler Jagdhunde.
Galgos brauchen keine weiteren Versprechen oder Reden.
Sie brauchen Schutz.
Sie brauchen, dass diejenigen, die sie misshandeln, vor der Justiz zur Verantwortung gezogen werden und dass die Behörden aufhören, wegzusehen.

Wir werden das Leid der Tiere nicht normalisieren.
Wir werden weiterhin jeden einzelnen Fall anzeigen, denn Schweigen wird die Opfer niemals schützen.

Después de hacer unas compras, circulando por el coche por Alcalá del Río, encontramos la imagen de un cazador entrenando galgos tirando de ellos con una motocicleta por mitad de un pueblo, bajo temperaturas extremas, JULIO EN SEVILLA, ALERTA NARANJA POR CALOR, ignorando por completo las necesidades de los pobres perros que están al otro lado de la moto.

La Ley 7/2023, de protección de los derechos y el bienestar de los animales, prohíbe utilizar métodos de entrenamiento que causen sufrimiento, estrés, agotamiento o pongan en riesgo la salud de los animales, incluyendo el uso de vehículos a motor en esas circunstancias.

Y, sin embargo, estas escenas siguen repitiéndose.
UNA VEZ MÁS A MANOS DE GALGUEROS ASESINOS.

Una vez mas, querida clase politica, os preguntamos, ¿De qué sirven las leyes si no se van a cumplir? ¿Cuántas denuncias más hacen falta para que haya inspecciones, sanciones ejemplares y una aplicación real de la normativa que tanto trabajo ha costado poner en pie?

Leyes hechas a medidas para cazadores y que no sean ellos los que sufran las consecuencias.
Leyes laxas, permisivas e insuficientes para proteger a quien lo necesita pero diseñadas para proteger al que maltrata.

Una vez más preguntamos, ¿CUANDO VAMOS A DEJAR SE SER UN PAIS MALTRATADOR DE NUESTROS PERROS? ¿HASTA CUANDO SE VA A SEGUIR CONSINTIENDO?

YA ESTÁ BIEN. Es momento de exigir responsabilidades a quienes nos gobiernan. Da igual el color político: cuando las leyes existen pero no se hacen cumplir, el mensaje que reciben los maltratadores y los asesinos de animales es que pueden seguir actuando con casi total impunidad. Esa dejadez institucional que cobra la vida de tantos perros de caza.

Los galgos no necesitan más promesas ni más discursos. Necesitan protección. Necesitan que quien los maltrate responda ante la justicia y que las administraciones dejen de mirar hacia otro lado.

No vamos a normalizar el sufrimiento animal. Seguiremos denunciando cada caso, porque el silencio nunca protegerá a las víctimas.

THE 21st CENTURY…

After doing some shopping, while driving through Alcalá del Río, we witnessed a hunter training Galgos by dragging them alongside a motorcycle through the middle of a town, in extreme temperatures. JULY IN SEVILLE WITH ORANGE HEAT ALERT, yet he completely ignored the needs and welfare of the poor dogs running alongside the motorbike.

Law 7/2023 on the Protection of Animal Rights and Welfare prohibits training methods that cause suffering, stress, exhaustion, or put an animal’s health at risk, including the use of motor vehicles in these circumstances.

And yet, these scenes continue to happen. ONCE AGAIN AT THE HANDS OF GALGO HUNTERS WHO KILL.

Yet again, we ask our political leaders: What is the point of having laws if they are not going to be enforced? How many more reports and complaints are needed before there are proper inspections, meaningful penalties, and real enforcement of legislation that took so much effort to introduce?

Laws are written to suit hunters, ensuring they are the ones who avoid the consequences.
Weak, permissive, and inadequate laws that fail to protect those who need protection while instead shielding those who abuse.

Once again we ask:
WHEN WILL WE STOP BEING A COUNTRY THAT MISTREATS ITS DOGS? HOW MUCH LONGER WILL THIS BE TOLERATED?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH . It is time to demand accountability from those who govern us. Regardless of political party, when laws exist but are not enforced, the message sent to animal abusers and those who kill animals is that they can continue acting with near-total impunity. This institutional neglect costs the lives of countless hunting dogs.

Galgos do not need more promises or more speeches.
They need protection.
They need those who abuse them to be held accountable before the law, and they need the authorities to stop looking the other way.

We will not normalise animal suffering. We will continue to report every case, because silence has never protected the victims.

die Hospitalisierung und die intensivmedizinische Versorgung entstanden sind,
die die Kleinen in diesen sehr schwierigen Tagen benötigt haben.

Tras el brote de parvovirosis que se llevó la vida de nuestros cachorros Emma, Valeria, Misu, Ana, Annurah, nos quedan pendientes las facturas veterinarias derivadas de toda la atención, hospitalización y cuidados intensivos que han necesitado los pequeños durante estos días tan difíciles.

Como ya sabéis, Rafa y Lucas han conseguido salir adelante, pero todo el proceso ha supuesto un coste veterinario muy elevado que ahora debemos afrontar.

Following the outbreak of parvovirus that claimed the lives of our puppies Emma, Valeria, Misu, Ana and Annurah, we are left with outstanding veterinary bills for all the treatment, hospitalisation and intensive care the puppies needed during these incredibly difficult days.
