Perth 2027 is shaping up to be bigger than we ever imagined! 🌏🔥
We’re about to tick over 6,000 registrations from first responders around the world, putting us on track for more than 10,000 participants — well beyond the original estimate of 8,500.
Across 10 days and 66 sports, there’s something for everyone, from athletics, swimming and cycling to first responder-specific events and social competitions. The Games officially kick off with the Opening Ceremony at Optus Stadium on 12 March 2027, followed by the Opening Ceremony After Party at The Camfield. Each evening, the Athletes Village at Supreme Court Gardens will become the social heart of the Games, bringing competitors together to connect, celebrate and enjoy the experience.
With thousands of first responders travelling to Perth from across the globe, Perth 2027 is a once-in-a-career opportunity to experience the World Police & Fire Games Down Under. And for the first time, eligibility has expanded across the policing community, with unsworn police staff and auxiliary officers able to compete alongside sworn officers — making the Games more accessible to police agencies than ever before.
But it takes a huge team to deliver an event of this scale. We need more than 2,500 volunteers, and registrations are open to anyone who wants to get involved.
And don’t forget to bring your family and friends! Family & Friends Accreditation is just US$35 and includes a Games bag, Opening Ceremony and Athletes Village access, free public transport and entry to Games venues. Children under 10 are free.
