🚲Day 1 of the BICYCLE Study Visit in Brussels 🇪🇺🚲
The BICYCLE Project has arrived in Brussels for its final activity: the BICYCLE Study Visit, bringing together young people and youth workers from our partner countries Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain to discuss cycling, sustainable mobility, and civic participation.🌍🌱
🇪🇺 On our first day, all groups from the different organisations met with their respective region representatives. The YEU group representing Belgium met with a representative from the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP) to learn more about advocacy, European policies, and decision-making processes, particularly those connected to sustainability, mobility, and youth engagement. ✨
In the afternoon, participants worked on their presentations about new bicycle route designs and policies in their respective regions, preparing to showcase their proposals and recommendations tomorrow at the European Commission 🇪🇺🏛
