Campaña Ningún Niño Sin Turrón Estamos realizando una campaña que finalizará el próximo día 20 de Diciembre de 2012. Por eso TU COLABORACIÓN es IMPORTANTE.

Se intentará recolectar el mayor número posible de Productos Navideños, que serán repartidos entre la gente con menos recursos. De esta manera estarás colaborando en un proyecto que lo que pretende es intentar hacer un poco menos amargas estas navidades a estas familias que no están pasando por sus mejores momentos. No estamos recolectando dinero, sólo productos Navideños.

Impulsando la innovación, fortaleciendo el servicio público y trabajando para las personas.

Durante la última semana hemos seguido avanzando en prioridades clave dentro de la Dirección General de Mayores y Participación Activa.

Desde el impulso de alianzas estratégicas en proyectos europeos, hasta el refuerzo del rigor jurídico y administrativo, y la aceleración de la transformación digital mediante sistemas de gestión mejorados y semiautomatizados, nuestro objetivo sigue siendo claro: ofrecer mejores servicios, ganar en eficiencia y lograr un impacto real.

Al mismo tiempo, estamos llevando a cabo importantes esfuerzos de reorganización interna en un contexto complejo, trabajando para mantener los expedientes al día y garantizar que las personas mayores reciban la atención y el apoyo que merecen.

Seguimos comprometidos con la construcción de una administración pública más ágil, moderna y centrada en las personas.

Driving innovation, strengthening public service, and delivering for people.

Over the past week, we have continued advancing key priorities within the Directorate General for Seniors and Active Participation.

From fostering strategic partnerships in European projects, to reinforcing legal and administrative rigor, and accelerating digital transformation through improved and semi-automated management systems, our focus remains clear: better services, greater efficiency, and real impact.

At the same time, we are undertaking significant internal reorganization efforts in a challenging context, working to maintain up-to-date case management and ensure that older people receive the attention and support they deserve.

We remain committed to building a more responsive, modern and people-centered public administration.

We continue advancing in the development of key public policies in the Canary Islands.
At the Directorate General for Older People and Active Participation, we are currently working on the legislative process to update the regulatory framework for volunteering in our region.
This initiative aims to modernize Law 4/1998 on Volunteering in the Canary Islands, adapting it to today’s social realities and aligning it with the Spanish national framework established by Law 45/2015 on Volunteering.
Our objectives are clear:
• Strengthen the role of volunteers and volunteer organizations
• Improve coordination between public administrations
• Promote active citizenship and social participation
• Enhance support, training, and recognition of volunteering
We are committed to building a more inclusive, participatory, and supportive society through a modern and effective legal framework.

We want a stronger, better coordinated volunteering sector, with greater capacity to respond to challenges such as unwanted loneliness.

Esta semana seguimos avanzando en algo muy importante: mejorar y poner en marcha infraestructuras pensadas para nuestras personas mayores.

No son solo edificios. Son espacios donde compartir, donde mantenerse activos, donde sentirse acompañados. Lugares que ayudan a combatir la soledad y a seguir formando parte de la vida de la comunidad.

Detrás de cada centro hay mucho trabajo técnico y administrativo que no siempre se ve, pero que es imprescindible para que todo funcione con seguridad y garantías. Y ahí estamos, trabajando para que cada paso cuente.

Porque lo que realmente importa es esto:
👉 que ninguna persona mayor se quede sin un espacio cercano donde participar, cuidarse y sentirse parte activa de la sociedad.
