This turtles was quite deep (25meters). We can't see on the picture but a net was entangled on its flippers. This a very common problem nowadays. Many animals get stuck in these nets and many dies. Fortunately for our turtle, it could swim without any problems.

This spiny butterfly ray (Gymnura altavela) was waiting on the sand. We decided to approach it to make some good shots. Unfortunately we were to greedy and went too close too fast. Even if a fleeing ray looks good on photos, it was a failure for us. We always try to disturb as less as possible the animals as a sign of respect but sometimes we can't be perfect all the time. It is good to learn of our mistakes and try to do a different approach the next time.

This common eagle ray (Myliobatis aquila) was very friendly with us. It was swimming very close to us and wasn't afraid at all. It was a very nice encounter.
