We had two weeks at the beginning of August with LKiM for our daughter who is 4 years old and diagnosed with a rare genetic disease causing developmental delays. First thing that we want to share with other parents who would like to come or are coming to LKiM is "this place is not just for your disabled child but it is a place for all the family". Krisztina and Peter took care of the three of us and after two weeks we saw the difference not only with the progress our daughter made but also with our family balance . There are many activities and the sessions were tailor-made to the needs of everyone (our daughter and us as parents). The approach is really holistic to make everyone comfortable and in a safe place. We were happy to see our daughter start walking outside from the second week (which she never did before). And once we come back home all the professionals who are currently taking care of her on a daily basis were amazed by the progress she made in such a short period of time: not only regarding the walking but also the attention, focus and eye contact with the other children and adults who are taking care of her. Don't hesitate to book your stay and if you have any other questions we would be happy to discuss with you personally. On our side, we decided to come back for 3 weeks as soon as we can. Nous avons eu deux semaines au début du mois d’août avec LKiM pour notre fille qui a 4 ans et qui a été diagnostiquée avec une maladie génétique rare provoquant des retards de développement. La première chose que nous voulons partager avec d’autres parents qui aimeraient venir ou qui viennent à LKiM est « cet endroit n’est pas seulement pour votre enfant handicapé mais c’est un endroit pour toute la famille ». Krisztina et Peter se sont occupés de nous trois et après deux semaines, nous avons vu la différence non seulement avec les progrès de notre fille, mais aussi avec notre équilibre familial.
