✅Official Announcement

The Rota City Council informs the public that, in accordance with a decree issued by the Regional Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs of the Junta de Andalucía (Cádiz branch), Punta Candor Beach is temporarily closed for swimming. This follows the regional authority's detection of an alteration in *Escherichia coli* (E. coli) bacteria levels in the bathing waters.
👉 Given this situation—and noting that these are isolated readings that deviate from the normal results typically recorded at this beach—the Rota City Council is working to obtain new test results as soon as possible. The goal is to allow Punta Candor Beach to return to normal operations quickly, while ensuring the safety and well-being of beachgoers.
