After spending much of her life in foster care and social institutions, 17-year-old Sofia is preparing for adulthood on her own.

Through a Convoy of Hope’s Children’s Feeding program, she’s learning practical skills like budgeting, meal planning, and cooking nutritious meals. What started as simply sitting at the table has grown into newfound confidence, trusted relationships, and a place where she feels at home. 🏡💛

As Sofia prepares for her future — and hopes to care for her adoptive mother — she’s not just building cooking skills, she’s building hope.

For more than 20 years, Esperanza and her daughter, Carmen, have found support, community, and encouragement through Convoy of Hope’s partner center in Spain.

Despite facing loss and hardship, Esperanza has remained devoted to raising her daughter, while Carmen has grown into a high-achieving student with dreams of becoming a pediatrician.

Through food assistance and the support of a caring community, families like theirs are finding hope for today and building toward a brighter future. 💙

За Мария това да има фризьорски салон вкъщи е повече от кариера. Това е начин да създаде пространство за това, което според нея е най-важно: да върви редом с тийнейджърите през програмите на „Конвой на надеждата“ и да им напомня за светлото им бъдеще. Мария активно служи като доброволец, предлагайки насърчение, подкрепа и постоянно присъства до младите хора, които се нуждаят от някой, който да ги изслуша.

This is what hope looks like in action! 🌱

Shovels in the dirt, food packs in hand, and time spent caring for neighbors.
A recent Field Team visited Koynare, Bulgaria, to help build a garden, deliver food packs to families in need, and connect with the local community. Through conversation, care, and encouragement, lives were impacted and practical needs were met in the process.

It’s through these acts of service that stronger communities are built and hope continues to grow!
