For the first time, the proposed law will make it illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to smoke or use va**ng products.

Until now, Spanish law prohibited the sale of to***co to minors but did not directly penalise young people for smoking.

Anyone caught breaking the rules could face fines starting at €200. Where the offender is a minor, parents or legal guardians would be responsible for paying the penalty, although community service could be offered as an alternative.

So many rules who will be policing them ?

But I do think this underage rule is good tbh .

It’s still not passed but what will it mean to so many businesses? And where will folks go for a smoke ?

Just back from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 not a sign of anyone smoking anywhere that I visited .

No sign of to***co anywhere in the shops , even the airport has a closed area now for to***co so kids don’t see cigs .

Which for me is the one area we should be working together with .

I do sympathize with those who enjoy a cigarette ,but maybe now it’s time to actually stop the smokers smoking around the place . And the vapes are actually worse with clouds of fumes flying around.

It is very uncomfortable sitting around those who do smoke ,and tbh they have enjoyed years of freedom here .

But let’s see you never know what can happen here on GC

🌿 Garden waste (excluding waste from private properties)

📞 Request the service by calling 687 82 83 06. Please specify the type of waste, the area, and the collection date.

🕘 Telephone service hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

🚛 Collection hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

⚠️ Important:
Do not leave bulky items, household goods, appliances, or garden waste at the container collection points.

ℹ️ Remember that it is mandatory to comply with the Mogán Municipal Ordinance on Cleaning and Waste Management.

Violations may result in fines of €900 to €40,000.
