💛 An Update & A Huge Thank You 💛

💛 Últimas noticias y un enorme agradecimiento 💛

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. Thanks to your generosity, we have already covered nearly half of the veterinary bill, so we are incredibly grateful 🙏

Sadly, we also have some heartbreaking news. Both of the kittens diagnosed with parvovirus passed away. One on Tuesday and the other last night 💔
Despite everyone's best efforts, it was simply too much for their tiny bodies. Parvo is such a cruel illness.

The other three kittens, who were suffering from a viral infection, have been discharged from hospital and remain under close observation and are continuing a course of medication, but they are feeling much better and we are hopeful they will make a full recovery 🤞

We are still fundraising to help cover the emergency veterinary costs.
If you haven't donated yet and are able to spare even a euro or two, it would make a huge difference.

En primer lugar, muchísimas gracias a todos los que habéis hecho donaciones hasta ahora. Gracias a vuestra generosidad, ya hemos cubierto casi la mitad de la factura del veterinario, por lo que estamos increíblemente agradecidos 🙏

Lamentablemente, también tenemos una noticia desgarradora. Los dos gatitos a los que se les diagnosticó parvovirus han fallecido. Uno el martes y el otro anoche 💔
A pesar de todos los esfuerzos, simplemente fue demasiado para sus pequeños cuerpos.
El parvovirus es una enfermedad muy cruel.

Los otros tres gatitos, que padecían una infección viral, han recibido el alta del hospital y permanecen bajo estrecha observación, además de seguir con el tratamiento, pero se encuentran mucho mejor y tenemos la esperanza de que se recuperen por completo 🤞

Seguimos recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos veterinarios de urgencia.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP 🚨

🚨 LLAMAMIENTO URGENTE DE AYUDA 🚨

This weekend, 5 kittens have had to be rushed to the emergency hospital.
Two have been diagnosed with parvovirus and are currently receiving life-saving treatment. The other 3 are suffering from an unidentified virus and have required stabilisation, IV fluids, and medication. Investigations are still ongoing.

Three of these kittens were abandoned.💔

Someone saw an existing cat colony and decided to leave their problem there, without stopping to think about the consequences. We have no refuge. We have very limited foster space (and those spaces are full), and very limited funds. By abandoning sick kittens at a colony, they have potentially put many other cats at risk.

It is heartbreaking and it is frustrating. And most of all, it is unfair on the kittens.

We need your help.
The veterinary bills are mounting!
If every person who follows our page donated just €1 or €2, we could cover the costs incurred so far and give these kittens the best possible chance of survival.

Este fin de semana, cinco gatitos han tenido que ser trasladados de urgencia al hospital.
A dos de ellos se les ha diagnosticado parvovirus y actualmente están recibiendo un tratamiento que les salvará la vida. Los otros tres padecen un virus aún sin identificar y han necesitado estabilización, suero intravenoso y medicación. Las investigaciones siguen en curso.

Tres de estos gatitos fueron abandonados.💔

Alguien vio una colonia de gatos ya existente y decidió dejar allí su problema, sin pararse a pensar en las consecuencias. No tenemos refugio. Contamos con un espacio de acogida muy limitado (y esos espacios están llenos), y con fondos muy limitados. Al abandonar gatitos enfermos en una colonia, han puesto potencialmente en riesgo a muchos otros gatos.

Es desgarrador y frustrante. Y, sobre todo, es injusto para los gatitos.

Necesitamos tu ayuda.

🧡 Ginny Update 🧡

🧡 Noticias de Ginny 🧡

Ginny has now finished her antibiotics and eye drops and, as you can see, she is looking amazing! 😍

She is eating brilliantly, has gained lots of weight, and is growing stronger every day. While she's still a little nervous, her confidence is improving day by day.

In just a few more days, she will complete her two weeks of quarantine and we can start to think about rehoming her.

She really is the most adorable little dot, and we're so proud of how far she's come in such a short time 🧡😸

¡Ginny ya ha terminado el tratamiento de antibióticos y colirio y, como podéis ver, tiene un aspecto fantástico! 😍

Come de maravilla, ha ganado mucho peso y cada día está más fuerte. Aunque todavía está un poco nerviosa, su confianza mejora día a día.

En solo unos días más, completará sus dos semanas de cuarentena y podremos empezar a pensar en buscarle un nuevo hogar.

Es realmente una cosita adorable, y estamos muy orgullosos de lo mucho que ha avanzado en tan poco tiempo 🧡😸

Thank you to everyone who came along to our fundraiser at Inspira yesterday afternoon with the fabulous Abba Angels - we hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did! We raised just over 700€ for the cats which is brilliant. 😻😻😻
