Now the time a lot of you’ve been waiting for!!!
The Auction Update!!!
Friday 12th June we ran our first dinner event alongside our first auction!
To raise awareness and if we could funds to help clear 2025 vet arrears and get up to speed with our stocking of food for all the animals!
We wanted to aim to get our van finally finished and on the road too.
THE Results.
We aimed for 40 people to join us for our dinner buffet before the bidding began. And well with our walk ins we ended up with 48! Thank you to each and every one of you that came along.

Then 20:00 came and more and more people came flooding in the doors of the beautiful setting and establishment of Amantes! Easy to say it was the busiest and greatest event I have put together for the animals in our rescue.
It was incredible !!!
I would estimate we had at least 80 people through the door and attending our event.

Thank you to Mercedes and Juani for setting up their stand to support amigos de los gatos callejeros. Bringing rescues together makes me happy and it is possible to work together! Let’s make the change start from here ladies!!!
Did we pay off 2025 vet arrears……
Yes we did!!!
Through out the event we totalled 1,195€ I can’t beleive I’m writing this!!! Tears ran and good feelings came running through my bones!!
Saturday was a tiring day but IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!
Vets all paid up!!! Alongside with some extra bills that needed paying. All receipts attached! Good shopping will commence tomorrow and I’m excited to get it all on our shelves and lift some pressure for a week or two hopefully!!!
Don’t forget our shop is open everyday 10-2 if you’d like to support a growing & rebuilding rescue! Not long till that final lisence certificate is in hand! Being patient is hard but when it arrives holly it’s gonna be the BEST moment ever!!! It’s coming!
