Such a pretty spot, we even saw two Stingrays while scouting for a section of shoreline/seabed for our next clean-up event, and than we swam into this plastic patch.

Even the areas that look quite clean can have a surprising amount of trash when one has a closer look.

Our new scrap metal collection box in the STP shipyard!

A big thank you to everyone who supports our association! Thanks to your scrap metal donations and cooperation, we have been able to remove several tonnes of waste from the marine environment.

We look forward to your continued support as we work to clean the many areas of Mallorca’s shoreline and seabed that still need our attention.

Some 5000 lead fishing weights that we have collected one by one on the seabed around Mallorca.

Out and about looking for the next area to do a Eco Projects Mallorca clean-up. The coastline looks beautiful from the distance but a closer look shows that there is plenty of trash to be recovered in that area. We will have to wait until the end of February or beginning of March because we are still short of 4-6 heavy duty backpacks to transport the collected trash up the steep cliff. Volunteers are welcome for this project but it is essential that they have climbing or canyoneering experience because the terrain really is unstable and steep!

Some of the fishing gear that Eco Projects Mallorca has collected underwater this summer.
We also collected approximately 6000 lead fishing weights with a total weight of 420 kilos!
Our clean-up projects are funded by recycling/selling scrap metal, mainly from the superyacht industry.
