Greetings to my new followers! I have been posting in a couple of "moving to Europe" forums and acquired a few clicks from people who may be thinking of moving somewhere other than Mallorca.
As well as Mallorca, where I arrived in 2020, I have lived in France for 30 years and the Netherlands for 8. So I have spent my entire adult life as expatriate, or immigrant, or whatever you want to call yourself (neither term is as simple as most people seem to think). That means that I might be able to help you with your project to move to anywhere in Europe, especially the above-mentioned countries, from whether or not you need.
Please read my "Featured" post to find out a bit more about why I have this page. I am not an immigration lawyer or a relocation consultant. All of my advice is informal, although sometimes it turns out that I know more than the lawyers do (I'm thinking in particular of that one US attorney who charged someone $3,000 to obtain a visa when their spouse had an EU passport). I'm here to help with the "unknown unknowns", and ultimately I don't care whether you make the move or not — I'm not getting commission for anyone.
