Our event dedicated to Srečko Kosovel was a great success, bringing together artists, students, educators, and members of the local community in a shared celebration of poetry, creativity, and cultural exchange. 🎭📖🎨

Through readings, visual art, personal testimonies, and the documentary created during the residency, Kosovel's words resonated far beyond borders and generations. 🌍💫 His vision, sensitivity, and artistic spirit touched many hearts within the Mallorcan community. ❤️

The title of our project was The Unknown, but after this journey, we can proudly say that Kosovel is no longer "the unknown." 🌟 His voice has found new listeners, new interpreters, and new admirers here in Mallorca. 🏝️📚

After months of preparation, creativity, and collaboration, the event *“Srečko Kosovel: Poems to the World”* is finally here.

We are ready to welcome you into a space where poetry, scenography, cyanotype art, and documentary storytelling come together to celebrate the voice and legacy of Srečko Kosovel.

Thanks to the collaboration with ŠC Srečka Kosovela Sežana, Gimnazija in ekonomska šola and all the partners involved, tomorrow we will open the doors to a unique international experience where art becomes a bridge between cultures and generations.

🌿💙 Creativity is in full bloom!

The Visual Merchandising students are continuing the production of cyanotype artworks that will become part of the scenography for the event "Srečko Kosovel: Poems to the World" on June 11.

Inspired by nature, poetry, and the unique blue tones of the cyanotype process, each piece contributes to creating an immersive visual experience that will accompany the audience through the world of Srečko Kosovel.

Behind every artwork lies a combination of creativity, teamwork, and dedication. As the event approaches, the scenography is gradually taking shape, transforming ideas into a poetic landscape of light, nature, and art.

We are now finalizing the artworks, preparing the gifts for our guests, and beginning the recording of the poems by Srečko Kosovel.

🎬🌿💙 The journey continues!

Following our first creative cyanotype workshops, our project dedicated to Srečko Kosovel is entering a new and exciting phase. These days, we are working on the scenography that will accompany the event "Srečko Kosovel: Poems to the World", transforming light, nature, and poetry into visual elements that reflect the spirit of his artistic universe.

At the same time, work is progressing on the documentary that will capture testimonies, images, and meaningful moments from this journey, helping to share the life, vision, and legacy of one of Slovenia’s most remarkable poets with an international audience.

Each meeting adds a new piece to this collaborative project, where art, memory, and culture come together across borders. We look forward to sharing the results of this inspiring creative adventure with you.

🌿💙 Today we strated with the 1st step of the cyanotype workshop!

We began experimenting with the cyanotype technique to create the scenery for the event. We gathered elements from nature and formed an alliance with light itself, bringing to life a unique atmosphere inspired by the poetry of Srečko Kosovel.

Thanks to the valuable long-term collaboration with ŠC Srečka Kosovela Sežana, Gimnazija in ekonomska šola, we are delighted to present an event that we have dreamed of bringing to life for many years: "Srečko Kosovel: Poems to the World."

A 🇸🇮 who remained little known beyond the borders of his homeland for a long time now returns with renewed strength, touching the hearts of people from different nationalities and cultures.

From a very young age, at just sixteen years old, Srečko Kosovel began recording his thoughts, experiences, and reflections on sheets of paper that would later become books. Endowed with a rich and multifaceted personality, he expressed in his works an extraordinary sensitivity toward his era, nature, and the human condition.

In 2026, on the centenary of his untimely death at the age of only twenty-two, the Slovenian Ministry of Culture wishes to commemorate him as one of the country's most eminent cultural figures and as one of the most significant representatives of the literary and artistic movement of Constructivism.

Through this event, we aim to pay tribute to his poetic legacy and introduce his voice to an international audience, so that his verses may continue to speak to the world and inspire future generations.
