The Forever Home Cat Sanctuary began as a result of the founder, Lisa Stewart giving her free time to helping homeless street cats in Mallorca. She encountered many cats that were disabled, very sick, old, very young, abandoned or living in dangerous areas that had no availability to food or water. She fir
stly had the idea to implement the CNR system, catch, neuter, return and did so with hundreds of the cats that she found, however some were so sick, old or unable to look after themselves she couldn't find it in her heart to return them to the streets and instead opened her home and formed the sanctuary. With access to the house and garden these special cats are free to choose where to spend their days. Each cat is spayed, neutered, tested for Feline Aids and Leukaemia and treated for for parasites along with being vaccinated. Specialised veterinary food is provided when necessary and operations, X-rays, ultra sounds, blood analysis, dental care and any veterinary needs are provided for them. This sanctuary is a non profit organisation that depends upon generous public donations to make lifelong care possible.
