A farewell lunch was held today for one of our guests as he moves into his next chapter.

He arrived with a story, a sharp mind, and a lot of life behind him.

He leaves as a friend.

It was an honour to have him here, to share the table, and to be a small part of the transition.

Summer volunteer couple wanted at Savi Coliving, Valencia mountains

We’re looking for a serious, practical, reliable couple to come and help run Villa Savi for the summer.

Immediate start available.

This would suit a young couple who want a beautiful place to live for the summer, surrounded by nature, mountains, sunshine, good people, and a slightly ridiculous number of dogs.

You’ll have your own private apartment at Savi, not a bunk bed in a cupboard, not a sofa, not “shared spiritual floor mattress energy.” An actual apartment.

In exchange, you’ll help with:

Keeping the villa clean
Helping with morning cleaning routines
Keeping the outside areas tidy
Making sure the house stays beautiful, calm, and well looked after
Being part of the general daily rhythm of the place

The work is mornings only, so your afternoons and evenings are your own.

There is a €10 per day contribution each.

Savi is an intentional sober coliving villa in the mountains of Náquera, just outside Valencia. It’s peaceful, spacious, beautiful, and full of people working on interesting things.

We have a pool, gym, yoga studio, coworking space, mountain views, hiking trails right outside the door, and Valencia close enough for beach days, dinners, culture, and remembering civilisation exists.

It’s an amazing place to spend the summer if you want sunshine, nature, community, space to breathe, a quiet healthy environment, time to work on your own projects, experience helping run a real coliving space, and a beautiful base in the mountains near Valencia.

This is not for people who want a free holiday while occasionally moving a mop around for dramatic effect.

We need people who are clean, responsible, mature, organised, proactive, and genuinely happy to help keep the place running well.

I keep seeing people looking for coliving in Valencia, which is lovely.

But also, I need to say something before another grown adult pays €1,100 to live in a shared flat with one frying pan, a “coworking area” that is actually a dining table, and a balcony just big enough for one sad chair and an existential crisis.

Savi is not that.

We’re 25 minutes outside Valencia, in the mountains of Náquera, in a big villa with actual space, actual views, and actual facilities that don’t require imagination or a wide-angle lens.

We have a pool.

A gym.

A yoga studio.

A badminton court.

A proper coworking space with screens.

Mountain trails outside the door.

Fast internet.

A sober, intentional house culture.

And yes, Valencia is still close enough for beach days, dinners, markets, culture, and pretending you’re more spontaneous than you actually are.

The difference is, when you come back here, you come back to peace.

Not traffic.

Not nightclub noise.

Not eight people arguing over fridge shelves.

Not someone taking a Zoom call in the kitchen while you’re trying to make eggs and quietly question your life choices.

Savi is for people who want more than just “a room in Valencia.”

It’s for remote workers, founders, creatives, and humans in transition who want to focus, reset, get healthier, meet good people, and maybe stop living like a caffeinated raccoon with a laptop.

It’s not a party house.

It’s not a hostel.

It’s not a spiritual cult with better cushions.

It’s a sober mountain coliving home for people who want clarity, community, nature, deep work, proper facilities, and a better rhythm of life.

Valencia is there when you want the city.

I’m Steve, and I built Savi Coliving in the mountains outside Valencia.

Yes, there’s a pool.
Yes, the views are ridiculous.
Yes, the WiFi is annoyingly fast.

But that’s not why it exists.

I started it because I got a bit fed up with how people (myself included) were living.

Working all day…
Scrolling all night…
Calling it “freedom” because the laptop was in a different country.

And most coliving places?
Short-term strangers, surface-level chat, and a lot of drinking disguised as “community”.

So I thought… there has to be a better way to live than this.

Savi is basically my attempt at that.

It’s a home for people who want to actually get their life together a bit, without it feeling like a rehab centre or a productivity cult.

No parties.
No chaos.
No forced “icebreakers” (don’t worry).

What you do get is:

People who actually talk to each other
Time to focus without constant noise
Random deep conversations at dinner
A weird amount of personal breakthroughs for a house with a pool

People arrive a bit burnt out or distracted…
and then a few days later they’re sleeping properly, training again, thinking clearly, and generally being less… chaotic.

Very inconvenient.

We’ve had founders, creatives, remote workers, people figuring life out… all ending up in the same place, which somehow works.

Also there are dogs. They’re basically the emotional support team.

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been building instead of getting a normal job.

It’s not for everyone, which is kind of the point.

But if you’ve ever felt like your environment might be the problem… you’d probably get it.
