Let the work continue!

We are in Sanya Station starting the second phase of the well: installing the pump and solar.

I can’t begin to explain the level of excitement in people’s faces as they witness the process unfold!!

At 1 Love, every dollar donated goes to help the Maasai people of East Africa.

There’s water beneath Sanya Station. 💧

Our team traveled to the Maasai community of Sanya Station, Tanzania, and with Engineers Without Borders Tanzania, we surveyed the ground and confirmed it: there is water underground. The community can already smell it, feel it, sense it beneath their feet.

Now we need to drill. Shannon’s 50th birthday wish was clean water for the family and community that raised her sons Julius & TJ, and we are one step closer to making it real.

Every dollar gets us closer to breaking ground. Link in bio to give. 🙏

IT’S HERE. THE BUS IS HERE!

After a year and a half of hard work, fundraising, and unwavering belief, the school bus for New Beginning Pre & Primary School has officially arrived. I got to see it in person and I am OVERWHELMED with joy.

This is what happens when a community comes together. Every dollar donated, every hour volunteered, every prayer sent, THIS is the result. A bus full of possibility, ready to carry kids to a brighter future.

To every rotary club, every individual donor, every single person who gave their money, time, and energy to this project, THANK YOU. This is yours just as much as it is theirs.

1 Love proved once again, when we work together, anything is possible. 🙏❤️

A special thank you to Jane Engle for everything!!

📍 Sending this from Ormelili, Tanzania, inside a Maasai village.

I can't begin to put into words what I'm witnessing here.

A well was built for this community, and the ripple effect is breathtaking. Women who used to spend hours every day walking to fetch water now have that time back. And what are they doing with it? Starting businesses. Making beads. Building something for themselves.
All because water became available.

That's exactly what we want to do for Sanya Station.
Water is a human right, but for too many people, it still isn't a reality. We have the chance to change that for an entire community, and we're already almost a third of the way to our goal.

Every dollar moves us closer to breaking ground. Please consider sharing this so others can as well.

Grateful beyond words 💧✨

In this special moment, the women of the village share their heartfelt thanks to every sponsor who made the well possible. Because of your generosity, mothers no longer walk miles for unsafe water. Children are healthier. Families have more time, more opportunity, and more hope.

Through 1 Love, this well has become more than a water source — it’s a symbol of dignity, strength, and community transformation.

To every single person who gave, shared, and believed in this mission: this is your impact. Thank you for standing with the Maasai community and making lasting change possible.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Clean International and Kendal Wilner for your unwavering support and dedication throughout this entire project. Your partnership, commitment, and belief in the community made this well possible. Because of you, families now have access to clean, safe water — a gift that will impact generations to come. 💧

More from our Legacy Event!

09/12/2025

Today is Colorado Gives Day and your love can change a whole village. 💚

Next year, we launch our Adopt a Village program, a long-term commitment to bringing education, clean water, and opportunity to Maasai families who deserve a brighter future.

By becoming a monthly donor, you help us show up for these families not just once, but all year long. Your steady support becomes classrooms, safe water, and hope that grows month after month.

If you believe in lifting others, in changing stories, in transforming futures — we invite you to stand with us today.
Asante for giving, for caring, and for walking with our Maasai community. 💚

What an incredible night! Thank you to everyone who showed up and made our Legacy Event so special. The room was full, the love was overflowing, and the impact was felt in every moment. Seeing a packed house reminded us just how strong this community is and how powerful we can be when we come together. We appreciate you more than words can say. 🙏🏾❤️

Thank you for the photos! They are amazing!
