👉Beware of SMS messages impersonating the Social Security!c👈

⚠️ A smishing campaign has been detected in which cybercriminals are posing as the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS).

The message claims that there is a pending update and includes a link to manage the supposed procedure. When clicked, it leads to a fake website that imitates the Social Security website and claims that there is a supposed financial benefit awaiting collection 💶.
The aim is to obtain your personal and banking information, such as your ID number (DNI or TIE) or card details. 🔐

🎨 Calling all crafters & creators! ✂️🧵

Starting Wednesday 26th August, Age Care will have a brand-new charity stall at La Cala Boulevard! To stock our shelves, we’re looking for members to help us create small, handmade items that tourists can easily pack and take home—like greeting cards, bookmarks, jewellery, and gift boxes.

Here is how you can get involved:

✨ Join our Craft Workshop
Starting Wednesday 2nd September (10:30am – 12:00pm) at the Oasis Centre. Come along to share ideas, have fun, and make items together for the stall!

✂️ Donate Unwanted Craft Supplies
Got extra card, wrapping paper, old jewellery, corks, paints, or glue lying around? Drop off small donations at the Oasis Centre on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. (Please note: limited storage, so no huge quantities!)

To all my friends at Age Care,

I’m sorry to let you know that, as from today 15 August, I will no longer be part of Age Care, for personal reasons.
However, I would like to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you to all of you. To my colleagues of course Mary, Pam,Barbara, Sabi and all the others, but also to all the members of the association who, over time, have become so much more than simply people I have had the privilege of meeting. You have become my friends, and for some of you, a little bit like family. ❤️

Thank you for the warm welcome you have always given me, for your kindness, your trust, and above all, for all the wonderful moments we have shared over the years.

One thing is certain: I am going to miss you all terribly! But don’t worry, I’m not going to disappear completely… 😊 I’ll pop in from time to time to see you, and I hope we can still share many more lovely moments together.
A bond as strong as this cannot simply be broken so easily. ❤️
