What an afternoon! 💛🦁
Our Donor Club Friends of the La Cala Lions fundraising event was a full house — 50 amazing guests! 🎉

A special thank-you to Donkey Dreamland for joining us and sharing the touching story of baby donkey Leon and their inspiring mission to rescue and care for donkeys in need. Their work truly embodies the spirit of compassion and community service that we proudly support.

We also want to thank Sontec, Daniel, and his father Alfonso Sánchez for showing us how hearing aids can truly change lives — improving quality of life and making every day experiences easier for so many. 👂💫

And a heartfelt thank-you to Janne Lassen from Valentin Wedding Flowers for donating the beautiful centrepieces, which we were able to sell to raise even more funds! 🌸✨

A special thanks to Alberto and Jeannette from Vino de la Luz, who guided us through the delicious wine pairing and explained how each wine complemented the food perfectly. 🍷🍽️

And what an amazing performance by Estefanía Sorroche, who rocked the afternoon with her incredible violin music! 🎻🔥

Our warmest thanks also go to Restaurante La Catedral (Las Lagunas) for their wonderful hospitality and delicious food — the perfect setting for an unforgettable afternoon or evening. 🍽️💫

Together, we raised the wonderful amount of €1,635 — all going toward our local community projects and the causes we proudly support. 💛

In 2023, a member established an initiative to form a group of donors for the La Cala Lions, called “Donor’s Club – Friends of the La Cala Lions.” The goal of this club is to raise funds to support the Lions’ charitable work by organizing special events throughout the year.

Currently, the club has 43 donors. Each donor contributes €30 per year, helping to create a sustainable source of income for the organization’s community projects.
