🇪🇸 Este año, Tomás, por fin viajó a Uganda para vivir Building The Future desde dentro. Para ver con sus propios ojos todo lo que ha apoyado desde el principio, pero sobre todo, para sentirlo.

Y de alguna manera, verle allí se sintió muy natural.

Porque Tomás es una de esas personas con un corazón generoso, una forma de estar cercana y un alma bonita. Alguien que no solo ayuda con hechos, sino también con presencia y mucho cariño.

Lo más bonito no fue solo verle en Uganda.
Fue verle con ellos.

Dejándose tocar la cara, tirar de las cejas, de la nariz… mientras los niños le miraban con esa curiosidad tan pura y tan inocente.

Jugando, riendo, preguntándoles qué querían ser de mayores, compartiendo música, tocando la batería juntos… viviendo cada momento al 100%.

Porque eso también es BTF.
Es construir vínculos reales.
Es estar presente.
Es hacer que un niño se sienta visto, escuchado y querido.

Gracias, Tomás, gracias Urbania, por estar desde el principio.
Por creer y formar parte de esta historia de una manera tan auténtica
Por ir.
Por dar desde un lugar tan bonito.

🇬🇧 This year, Tomás finally travelled to Uganda to experience Building The Future. To see with his own eyes everything he has supported from the very beginning, but above all, to feel it.

And somehow, it felt so natural to see him there.

Because Tomás is one of those people with a generous heart, a kind spirit and a beautiful soul. Someone who gives not only with actions, but with presence and genuine affection.

The most beautiful part wasn’t just seeing him in Uganda.
It was seeing him with the children.

Letting them pull his eyebrows, touch his nose, explore his face with that pure and innocent curiosity.
Playing, laughing, asking them what they want to be when they grow up, sharing music, playing the drums together… living every moment fully.

Because this is also what BTF is about.
It is building real bonds.
It is being present.
It is making a child feel seen, heard and loved.

Thank you, Tomás, thank you Urbania for being there from the very beginning.
For believing.
For showing up.
For giving from such a beautiful place.

A mother fighting for her children’s future.
A woman working with dignity, creativity and hope.
Hands creating not just jewellery… but opportunities. ✨

In the village next to our school in Uganda, these incredible women create handmade pieces to become financially independent, support their families and help their children go to school.

This is what Building The Future is also about.
Not only building schools, but helping create futures, opportunities and hope for entire communities. 🌍🤍

Every piece carries meaning. Every purchase creates impact.

🇪🇸 Detrás de cada pieza hecha a mano, hay una historia. 🤍

Una madre luchando por el futuro de sus hijos.
Una mujer trabajando con dignidad, creatividad y esperanza.
Manos que no solo crean joyas… crean oportunidades. ✨

En el poblado junto a nuestro colegio en Uganda, estas increíbles mujeres elaboran piezas handmade para poder ser independientes, ayudar a sus familias y conseguir que sus hijos puedan ir al colegio.

Porque Building The Future también significa eso:
no solo construir escuelas, sino ayudar a crear futuro, oportunidades y esperanza para comunidades enteras. 🌍🤍

Cada pieza tiene un significado.
Y cada apoyo puede cambiar una vida. ✨

🇬🇧 We want to share these moments with you, just as they are.

What you see here is real.

For these children, our visit each year is something they truly look forward to.
They prepare for it.
They get excited.
They celebrate it.

Many of them don’t usually see people from outside their community, and they’ve been told that this school exists thanks to people who care about them, even from far away.

So when we arrive… they welcome us with joy, with music, with dancing.

Not because anyone asks them to.
But because that’s how they express happiness.

During these days, routines change.
There is food, there are drinks, there is laughter.
There is a sense of celebration.

And what you see is simply that:
their way of receiving us,
their way of saying thank you,
their way of sharing who they are.

We are not sharing this to show what we do.

We are sharing this because it is beautiful.
Because it is real.
And because moments like these deserve to be felt.

If it moves you, you will understand it. 🤍

🇪🇸 Queremos compartir estos momentos tal y como son.

Lo que veis aquí es real.

Para estos niños, nuestra visita cada año es algo muy importante.
La esperan.
La preparan.
La viven con ilusión.

Muchos de ellos no suelen ver personas de fuera de su comunidad, y saben, porque sus profesores se lo han explicado, que este colegio existe gracias a personas que, desde lejos, piensan en ellos.

Por eso, cuando llegamos… nos reciben así.

Con música.
Con baile.
Con alegría.

No porque nadie se lo pida, sino porque es su forma de expresar lo que sienten.

Durante estos días, todo cambia.
No hay clases.
Hay comida, hay bebida, hay risas.

Hay celebración.

Y lo que veis es simplemente eso:
su manera de recibirnos,
su manera de agradecer,
su manera de compartir lo que son.

No compartimos esto para mostrar lo que hacemos.

Lo compartimos porque es bonito.
Porque es real.
Y porque creemos que merece ser sentido.

🇪🇸 Queremos compartir con vosotros un vídeo muy especial que preparamos para el LPA Breakfast, donde podéis sentir un poco de todo lo que vivimos en Uganda este año.

Lloramos.
Bailamos.
Cantamos.
Jugamos.
Compartimos amor… y mucho más.

Momentos que no se explican.
Se sienten.

Momentos que te cambian por dentro.

Ojalá, al verlo, podáis sentir aunque sea una pequeña parte de lo que nosotros sentimos allí.

🇪🇸Miradas que te atraviesan.
Sonrisas que no se olvidan.
Son historias que no conoces… pero sientes.

En cada rostro hay algo que no se puede explicar.
Algo puro.
Algo real.

Te miran…
y sin decir nada, lo dicen todo.

Y en ese momento entiendes
que no hace falta hablar el mismo idioma
para conectar de verdad.

Hay miradas que se quedan contigo.
Estas… son de esas. 🤍

🇬🇧 Eyes that stay with you.
Smiles you don’t forget.
Stories you don’t know… but somehow feel.

There’s something in each of them
you can’t explain.
Something pure.
Something real.

They look at you…
and without saying a word,
they say everything.

And in that moment, you understand you don’t need the same language to truly connect.

You gave love in the simplest, most beautiful way.

Through your smiles,
your energy,
your presence.

You showed up with an open heart…
and you gave yourself completely.

Teaching them Greek,
sharing your world with them,
and at the same time… becoming part of theirs.

There was something so natural in the way you connected,
so soft, so real.

The kind of love that doesn’t need words,
because it’s felt in every gesture.

You didn’t just spend time there…
you left a piece of you.

And in doing that,
you gave them something they will carry with them.

And all of us too.

So much heart.
So much light. 🤍

Has dado amor de la forma más bonita.

Con tus sonrisas,
con tu energía,
con esa manera tan tuya de estar.

Te has entregado de verdad.

Enseñándoles griego,
compartiendo tu mundo con ellos…
y al mismo tiempo formando parte del suyo.

Había algo muy natural en cómo conectabas,
tan suave, tan real.

De ese amor que no necesita palabras,
porque se siente en cada gesto.

No solo has estado allí…
has dejado una parte de ti.

Y eso es lo que se queda.

Tanto en ellos…
como en todos nosotros.
