Hasta ahora, hemos construido una comunidad democrática bastante sólida, pero quizá aún no un verdadero movimiento democrático. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗼.
🫧 Tenemos que romper nuestras burbujas y ampliar el círculo de personas que se sienten parte de este debate. Necesitamos que las empresas, los tecnólogos, los agentes culturales, las comunidades locales, el sector filantrópico y muchos otros comprendan que 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀. 𝗬 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗴𝗼, 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗼́𝗹𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶́𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼𝘀. Es esencial para el tipo de sociedades en las que todos y todas queremos vivir.

We have built quite a strong democracy community but perhaps not yet a true democratic movement. If democracy is going to endure, it needs to become a much broader societal project.
🫧 We need to break our democratic bubbles and broaden the circle of people who feel part of this debate. We need businesses, technologists, cultural actors, local communities, philanthropy and many others to understand that defending democracy is not someone else's responsibility. It is essential to the kind of societies we all want to live in.
💡 These are some of the ideas we will be sharing on the 19th as part of the Global Progressive Mobilisation. We will be represented by our Director of Partnerships, Thai Jungpanich
