THE SHEPHERD’S CARE

Psalm 23:1
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

When David wrote these words, he wasn’t speaking as a king on a throne but as a sheep under the care of the Shepherd. To say “The LORD is my shepherd” is to rest in His guidance, His provision, and His protection. The world leaves us empty, always chasing and never satisfied, but when the LORD is our Shepherd, we LACK NOTHING essential. He leads, He feeds, He guards, and He gives peace even in the valleys. Take heart—if you belong to Him, you are never forgotten, never forsaken, and never without His care. 🐑

Good works are important, just not for salvation. We do them out of gratitude to God, but not to get us to heaven.

Faith&grace alone is to trust in Christ alone to get us to heaven.
