Fundamos la asociación un grupo de personas procedentes tanto de la tradición de Avalon fundada por Kathy Jones, como de la tradición de Reclaiming iniciada entre otr@s por Starhawk. La asociación se constituye con los siguientes fines:
* Recuperar los conocimientos sobre las deidades femeninas (“la Diosa”), históricas y pre-históricas, autóctonas o de relevancia en el territorio naci
onal, y sus cultos y las culturas asociadas con ellas.
* Facilitar el acceso a esos conocimientos a la sociedad española e internacional.
* Establecer un punto de referencia (virtual y físico) para la enseñanza de esos conocimientos y para el encuentro en un Espacio Sagrado y Ceremonial.
* Promover, defender y trabajar por la igualdad en dignidad y derechos de mujeres y hombres a través de la visibilización de un modelo de Divinidad Femenina negado a lo largo de más de tres mil años.
* Promover, defender y trabajar por la salud de nuestro Planeta como manifestación física de la Divinidad.
* Promover, defender y trabajar por el respeto a la multiculturalidad como un ejemplo de biodiversidad en lo humano a través del trabajo con Diosas de todas las culturas a través del tiempo y el espacio.
* Organizar una serie de eventos que contribuyan a todo lo anteriormente mencionado (“Conferencia de la Diosa Ibérica” / "Festival de la Diosa Ibérica"). ENGLISH:
The association was founded by a group of people from both the tradition of Avalon created by Kathy Jones and the Reclaiming tradition initiated by Starhawk and others. The association was constituted to get the following purposes:
* Regaining lost knowledge of female deities ("the Goddess"), historical and pre-historic, indigenous or relevant in the national territory and their cults and cultures associated with them.
* Facilitating access to that knowledge to Spanish and international society.
* Establishing a reference point (virtual and physical) for the teaching of that knowledge and for the gathering in a Sacred and Ceremonial Space.
* Promoting, defending and working for equality in dignity and rights of women and men through the visualization of a model of Divine Feminine denied over more than three thousand years.
* Promoting, defending and working for the health of our planet as a physical manifestation of Divinity.
* Promoting, defending and working for the respect for multiculturalism as an example of biodiversity in humans through work with Goddesses of all cultures through time and space.
* Organizing a series of events that contribute to all the above ("Iberian Conference of the Goddess" / "Iberian Goddess Festival").
