Meet the winner of this year's Break the Scroll Prize.

We created this special prize to celebrate technology that puts people first, instead of chasing screen time and likes. This year's honoree is Kindling, built by our Senior Division team.

Kindling helps parents and teens reconnect in a distracted world, with conversation starters, bonding activities, and nudges built for real families, including long-distance and single-parent households.

Congratulations to this incredible team. Swipe through to see their story, then tell us in the comments: what would "breaking the scroll" look like in your house?

We're celebrating some big news: Technovation has been named PIEoneer of the Year at The PIEoneer Awards 2026!

This award recognizes our project-based learning model, where students build real technology solutions to problems in their own communities, the same thing we've been building toward for 20 years. It's one of 21 categories at the only global awards celebrating innovation across the entire international education industry.

This win belongs to every builder, mentor, and educator in this community. Thank you for making it real.

Before Technovation, Tara Chklovski ran a K-8 school in India. She says that experience "still drives everything I do," and thirty years later, the same instinct still shapes the organization: stay close to students and educators, then let what you learn there change the program.

A new profile from Pulse2 walks through what that approach built. More than 500,000 alumni across 120+ countries have made over 25,000 apps and AI tools. Jenny Xu made her first game at age 12. It's been downloaded 10 million times. Mhea Bardouille's Technovation project grew into a global climate company.

"There's just so much for Technovation to be proud of," Chklovski says. "Every milestone is a reminder of what's possible when we trust ourselves to innovate."
