Friday, 12 June 2026 – President and Global Peace 2030 initiator, Mr. KC Hum Sappan, paid a courtesy visit to the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kenya to discuss opportunities and met the Chairman, Hon'ble Senator Moses Kajwang, who is the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee and the Africa Climate Change Caucus in the Senate, as well as other senators and the Chairperson of the Kenya Human Rights and Gender Committee in the Senate.

During the meeting, Mr. KC and the Chairperson discussed various issues, including violence, conflict prevention, and the promotion of lasting peace in Kenya. Mr. KC expressed concern about Kenya’s security situation, human rights issues, and the importance of sustainable peace.

STATEMENT BY MR. KC ON THE VIOLENCE ALONG THE PAKISTAN–AFGHANISTAN BORDER

STATEMENT

Date: 10 June 2026 - I am deeply concerned by the continued violence along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border. I strongly urge all parties involved to exercise restraint, cease hostilities, and work towards a peaceful resolution of their differences.

The tensions and conflicts along the border are longstanding issues that have affected communities on both sides for many years. Continued violence only brings further suffering to innocent people and undermines regional peace and stability.

I call upon the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as all concerned stakeholders, to engage in constructive dialogue and peaceful cooperation to address their differences and prevent further escalation.

The people of both nations deserve to live in peace, security, and prosperity. It is time to move beyond conflict and pursue a path of mutual understanding, respect, and lasting peace.

As a peace advocate, I remain ready to support any initiative that promotes dialogue, reconciliation, and sustainable peace in the region.

Mr. KC Calls for a Permanent Ceasefire and Lasting Peace in the U.S.–Iran–Israel Conflict

https://gp2030.org/us-iran-israel-conflict

Statement
Monday, 8 June 2026 - I call on all nations involved in the current conflict to immediately agree to a permanent ceasefire and work toward lasting peace.

No country-including the United States, Iran, or Israel-will truly win through war. This conflict is bringing only the loss of innocent lives, destruction, suffering, and displacement of civilians.

The ongoing attacks and military actions involving the United States, Iran, Israel, and the wider region must come to an end. This conflict is affecting not only the people of the countries directly involved but also the wider international community.

I have repeatedly appealed to all parties to pursue a permanent ceasefire and lasting peace. I once again offer my support and mediation efforts to help facilitate dialogue and peace. In addition to government-led initiatives, there is a need for independent and non-governmental mediation efforts that can contribute to building trust and advancing peaceful solutions.

I would also like to remind all parties involved in the conflict to consider and engage with my Global Peace 2030 Agenda, which promotes dialogue, cooperation, reconciliation, and sustainable peace.

The time has come to end the violence and choose peace for the benefit of present and future generations.

Mr. KC's Statement on the Iran-U.S. Conflict and Escalation in the Gulf

https://gp2030.org/iran-u-s-conflict-gulf

Statement

Wednesday, 3 June 2026 - The world had hoped that the ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran would lead to an end to the conflict and pave the way for permanent peace. However, the renewed escalation between the United States and Iran is deeply concerning and unacceptable. People around the world are against this war and any further escalation.

I call upon the United States, Iran, and Israel to immediately stop all attacks, violence, and killings in the Gulf region, Lebanon, and all other areas affected by this conflict. It is not only the people of the United States, Iran, and Israel who want peace—the people of the entire world want this war to end and for lasting peace to prevail.

History has repeatedly shown that no one truly wins a war. War brings only death, destruction, displacement, and suffering. The time has come for dialogue, mutual understanding, and peaceful solutions.

I urge the United States, Iran, and Israel to immediately agree to a permanent ceasefire and begin meaningful negotiations for lasting peace. As an independent non-governmental peace advocate, I have previously offered my mediation and participation in any ceasefire or peace process aimed at achieving sustainable peace. I firmly believe that permanent ceasefires and lasting peace are what people everywhere seek and deserve.

This vision is also in line with my Global Peace 2030 Agenda, which promotes dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful conflict resolution worldwide.
