The EMCOMNET/1 exercise held on April 19, 2026 once again highlighted the commitment, availability, and technical capability of the participating radio amateurs in the field of emergency communications. The log for station EA9E shows a significant level of activity, with 53 messages received, 50 transmitted, and 23 different operators or stations involved, figures that clearly show active participation and a solid operational response during the period analyzed.
Beyond the numbers, this exercise also helped strengthen procedures, encourage the practical use of Winlink, and confirm the importance of acknowledgements, replies, and properly documented links as a key part of an effective communications network. In this sense, activities like this reinforce the value of organized amateur radio as a technical, human, and training resource that helps improve preparedness for emergency situations.
For all these reasons, the outcome of this activity should be considered highly positive, and special thanks should be given to all participating operators, whose cooperation makes it possible to keep improving training and operational readiness in emergency communications.
