We are thrilled to collaborate on this new Erasmus+ project with our partners from Finland, Greece, Belgium, and Croatia.

The MENTAL-CARE project aims to achieve several essential objectives:

Improve the quality of life for individuals facing mental health challenges.
Strengthen communication skills among all stakeholders, including mental health users, professionals, and family members.

Reduce the risk of illness relapse, caregiver burnout, and mental health issues within families. Increase job satisfaction for mental health professionals.

Develop a comprehensive guide of best practices to promote collaboration and enhance communication among these three key groups, thereby supporting recovery for those with mental health conditions.

Our European MAP project is coming to an end and we are already working on the closing event to present the results of these eighteen months of work.

In the coming weeks we will give you all the details of the event which, as we have already mentioned, will be attended by first person voices who have participated directly in the focus groups.

You can now read the results report of the European FILMI project. After months of joint work with GIRA and , we publish the results of the research on our website.

For the moment, it is only available in English, but we hope to be able to translate it into Spanish as soon as possible.

AMAFE would like to thank both SOLARIS and GIRA for their hard work during all this time and we hope that this will be the first of many collaborations.

🗣️Third day of the MAP project study visit to Madrid. We are working on the best practices manual, finalizing details on the topics that have been discussed in the focus groups and the conclusions that have been reached both in Rome and Madrid.

🗣️ On the second day of the Madrid study visit of the project we had a meeting with Confederación Salud Mental España and Federación Salud Mental Madrid - Umasam - Umasam to share with Progetto Itaca Roma the work done by the associative movement both at local and state level and learn from the similarities and differences that exist between the two regions.

We keep learning together!
