Why do we use sport at Fundación Xcalibur? 🏀⚽

Because sport creates opportunities to learn, connect and develop essential life skills such as confidence, respect, cooperation and teamwork.

Through our projects, we also use sport to promote gender equality, challenge stereotypes and create safe, inclusive spaces where girls and boys can participate and grow on equal terms.

By combining sporting activities with reflection, we help children and young people take these lessons beyond the field and into their everyday lives.

Thanks to the support of Rawji Foundation and Chekinah Olivier (OL CONSULT SARL), 100 children now have a new space where they can play, learn and grow.

(English below)

Juntas cambiamos el juego.

⚽️ 43 female football players. One shared goal: to grow, lead and inspire.

ByEM begins a new cycle alongside the players of Sport Extremadura CD, strengthening their personal development and confidence both on and off the pitch.

Through training in areas such as teamwork and communication, together with activities based on the Service-Learning methodology, the players will gain tools to share the values of sport and their own sporting journeys with teenagers across the province of Badajoz.

In this way, ByEM aims to empower the players as role models and agents of change, using sport as a tool to inspire the next generation. 💜
