🌿✨ Rural Spark | Youth Exchange | Vatra Dornei, Romania 🇷🇴 | April 6–17 2025
From the very first day in the heart of the Romanian mountains, Rural Spark became much more than just a Youth Exchange — it became a journey of connection, creativity, and discovery. 💫
Participants from different European countries came together to break the ice 🤝, build team spirit, and dive into the Erasmus+ world 🌍, exploring the realities and challenges of rural communities through powerful theatre performances 🎭 and open discussions.
As the days unfolded, creativity and reflection took center stage. The Marshmallow Challenge 🍡, personal SWOT analyses 🧠, and entrepreneurial logo design activities 💡 encouraged young people to think critically and find innovative solutions to community issues using local resources.
Nature and culture surrounded us as we explored the beautiful region of Vatra Dornei 🏞️, reconnecting with ourselves and with the environment. We also tackled topics such as cognitive biases, AI in youth work 🤖, and media literacy, creating impactful social media campaigns 📱✨ to promote critical thinking and fight misinformation.
Later, participants turned knowledge into action — designing and testing their own workshops and debates 🗣️⚡ to apply what they had learned back in their local communities. The experience culminated in powerful dissemination plans 📢, Youthpass reflections, and an emotional farewell full of gratitude and friendship ❤️.
This project reminded us that even in the most rural corners of Europe, innovation and youth energy can spark change. 🌍🔥
