🌍 Minds and Motions Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Spain – Day 5!
We began the day with 10 minutes of “failure challenges” – activities designed to push us out of our comfort zones, to accept that sometimes we fail, and to understand that it’s completely OK. Laughter and fun helped us set a positive mood for the whole day.
First, the Hungarian group led a dynamic game about flags and numbers, testing our focus and speed.
Then the activities were taken over by the Slovak team, who introduced their workshop “Emotion Expression.” Through movements, role plays, and situations, we learned to recognize different emotions, lead others in a group, and handle complex situations together. This activity really opened new perspectives and helped us discover ourselves in unexpected ways.
In the afternoon we had an Open Space session – where everyone could choose their own activity. Some joined games, others stretched and exercised, while another group learned first aid basics – useful skills for everyday life.
Later, the Hungarians returned with a special challenge: in mixed groups we had to build the tallest tower. But there was a twist – each participant had certain “limitations” (for example, not being allowed to speak, not being able to use their hands, or even not seeing). This required us to cooperate creatively, trust each other, and find new ways to communicate.
Later we moved to our daily reflection 🌳. Everyone had to choose a place on a symbolic “tree” filled with figures – some sitting on the top, some in the middle, others at the bottom. Each person explained why that particular spot and figure represented their feelings about the day. It was a meaningful moment, showing both our differences and similarities after all we had experienced together.
And then came a truly special evening – the National Nights! 🇭🇺🇱🇻🇪🇸
This time, cultures were presented by Hungary, Latvia, and Spain. The evening was full of games, traditional activities, fun challenges, and stories about each country.
The day ended with joy, laughter, and the strong feeling that we are becoming more connected – exactly what Erasmus+ youth exchanges are all about! 💫
