Durante mi proyecto de voluntariado con el Cuerpo Europeo de Solidaridad, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en la escuela Niepubliczna Szkoła Podstawowa Nr 1, donde mi función consistía en apoyar la enseñanza de inglés y español, proporcionando a los estudiantes prácticas de conversación en su idioma elegido y herramientas relacionadas. Mi tiempo allí me permitió ampliar mis conocimientos y habilidades tanto en inglés como en polaco, y también me ayudó a desarrollar una comunicación más asertiva y eficaz. Esta experiencia fue realmente única y la recordaré con cariño.

From 14th to 21st June, participants from our organisation had the incredible opportunity to join the Erasmus+ training course in beautiful Jastrzębia Góra! 🏖️✨

Hosted by the amazing Fundacja Better Together, this project brought together brilliant minds like Lydia, Mica, and Diego to tackle the pressing issue of disappearing interpersonal communication skills. 🗣️💬

Our focus was on understanding and overcoming the communication errors and teamwork challenges that are becoming more common in today's world. Through engaging activities, we explored both verbal and non-verbal communication, identifying barriers and finding effective solutions to improve our interactions. 🤝💡

Urgent Call for volunteers in Spolek Hnizdo itself. 🥳

About volunteering with us:
We teach people (children, youth, adults) to see the world in a wider picture – and a foreigner volunteer can contribute to this. Our main goal of volunteer engagement is to benefit from the continuous presence of a non-Czech speaker which should encourage the motivation of people to learn English and other languages. The main contribution of the volunteer will then be his/her active participation in non-formal and may be formal activities. The volunteer can take part in games and group activities, be with children, help with the NGO management, administration, to organize events for the public and for the parents. At this moment we look for volunteers who will help with photos and video galleries, social media, articles, dissemination, publicity etc. He/she will also be encouraged to run his/her own workshop, hobby club etc. according to his/her interest. During summer holidays, volunteers can help with summer camps, summer and preparation of the new school year.

We prefer if the projects are for 1 year, even tho, it's possible to accept volunteers for a shorter period(minimum 2 months). Starting as soon as possible. 💥

Location: Tisnov, Czech Republic!

As always, all living and travelling expenses are covered by the project and volunteers also receives a pocket money in the begging of each month.
