We are pleased to share that all medical equipment envisaged within the grant provided by the Deputación da Coruña, in collaboration with the Asociación Galega de Axuda a Ucraína, has been successfully procured for the Blood Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This support made it possible to supply critical infrastructure, including:
- Automatic extractors of blood components MONZA — 2 units
- Shock rapid freezer for blood plasma KPFF 24B — 1 unit
- Cooling table for distribution of blood components — 1 unit (co-funded)
- Refrigerator HAIER DW-40 L418D — 1 unit
- Mobile sealers — 2 units (co-funded)
- Biomedical freezer HAIER DW-40L92 — 1 unit
- Double blood containers with anticoagulant solution.
Each of these elements plays a vital role in ensuring the safe processing, storage, and transportation of blood and its components. For medics, this is not just equipment — it is a tool that directly increases the chances of survival for the wounded.
Timely access to properly stored blood products is often the decisive factor between life and death. By strengthening the technical capacity of the Blood Center, we are strengthening the entire system of medical response on the front line.
