Join us for a fabulous Fashion Show by SÉ TÚ at The Pub, Javea Park on Wednesday 10 June from 18.00 to 20.00 hrs in support of Cancer Support MABS Fundación.

Following last year’s huge success, it promises to be another fun evening with real models, great fashion, and wonderful company.

UPDATE ON ROMAN BURCHELL

There are truly no words to describe the emotion of seeing Romi finish his proton therapy treatment and ring the bell after six weeks of almost daily treatment at the Centro de Protonterapia Quirónsalud in Madrid.

Martina, his mum, said he was so overwhelmed in the moment that he didn’t quite know what to do.

Get your tissues at the ready, because I’m sure this one will make your eyes leak.

All of us at MABS send our love to the entire Burchell family. I would also personally like to thank them for allowing us to share their journey over the past few weeks during what has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time.

Through Romi, Martina, Phil, Timea and Alfie 🐶, not only has greater awareness been raised about the work we do at MABS, but their story will also help us raise vital funds to support other families facing similar situations.

We wish them all the very best for the future and look forward to welcoming them back to Javea. I am sure that when Romi returns to school in the next few days, he will receive the hero’s welcome he so richly deserves. 🔔💜🙏💜🔔

Update on Roman Burchell

Most of you will now be aware that we at Cancer Support MABS Fundación have been helping Roman Burchell, a brave 12-year-old boy from Jávea who has been suffering from a rare form of cancer.

Below is a message from his mum, Martina. We wish them all the very best and send them all our love. We too cannot wait for Tuesday, when Romi will finally be able to ring that bell! 💜🎗️

“Romi is now only two therapies away from ringing that bell.

The photos below show Romi during his treatment at the centre where he is undergoing therapy. The size of the machine used to create the proton treatment is enormous and hidden away underground.

The medical team at Centro de Protonterapia Quirónsalud in Madrid have been absolutely amazing in caring for our Romi.
