Nuestro concurso tiene unicamente como objetivo desde su fundación en 1990 publicitar, reconcer y premiar la labor artística de los mejores fotógrafos de montaña y naturaleza del mundo, a la vez que promocionar y proteger la montaña, Naturaleza y los entronos que le son propios, dándolos a conocer por medio de impactantes imágenes. 37 MML-PHOTO & VIDEO -Biodiversity and geodiversity: Biodiversity captions will show animals or plants in their natural habitat. Judges will take into account the link between the different species and their environment and, also, the image composition criteria on the environment.
Geodiversity will also fall in this category, understood as the range of geological elements – rocks, minerals, fossils, landforms and terrain structures and the processes that shape them, etc. – being these essential to natural landscapes.

Se valorará la vinculación entre las diferentes especies y su medio, y que en la composición de la imagen el entorno tenga un peso relevante.
También será objeto de esta categoría temática la geodiversidad, entendida como la variedad de elementos geológicos —rocas, minerales, fósiles, formas y estructuras del terreno, procesos naturales que los modelan, etc. — al ser estos un pilar fundamental de los paisajes naturales.

🏔️🎬 EL MEMORIAL MARIA LUISA INVITADO A LA NOCHE BLANCA DE GIJÓN
El Museo Evaristo Valle y el Memorial María Luisa nos unimos a la Noche Blanca de Gijón en una velada dedicada al cine de montaña, naturaleza y aventura con la proyección al aire libre, en los jardines del museo, de dos películas premiadas en el Certamen:
🎥 “Hidden Spirit”
🎥 “The Skin of the Jungle” Su director, Cristóbal Serrano, nos acompañará para compartir la historia detrás de este cortometraje.
📅 2 de octubre a las 20:00h.
📍 Jardines del Museo Evaristo Valle, Gijón

🤝 Momento para comentar y compartir después de la proyección
🌿 Antes de la proyección, os invitamos a descubrir y disfrutar del Museo Evaristo Valle, su colección y sus jardines.
