A little bit of chaos, a lot of moving parts, and we are almost ready. Come say hi at tomorrow 🪩 🐶

🐾🇮🇪 DISCO DOGS ARE HEADING TO DUBLIN! 🇮🇪🐾

We’re so excited to be attending Pet Expo at the National Show Centre in Dublin this weekend! 🐶

We’re travelling with an important mission: to shine a light on the heartbreaking issue of abandoned dogs on our island and help more of them find the loving, forever homes they so desperately deserve. 🏡🐾

✨ We’ll be spreading awareness about the plight of Ibiza’s abandoned dogs.
❤️ Talking about adoption and the difference it can make.
🐕 Connecting with potential adopters and families who could offer a dog a second chance.
🤝 Meeting fellow animal lovers and building a stronger network of support for rescue dogs.

Every year, too many dogs are abandoned and left waiting for someone to choose them. We want to change that, one dog, one family, and one story at a time.

Are you in Ireland and thinking about adopting a dog? Come and meet us! We’d love to chat, answer your questions, and tell you more about adopting from Ibiza.

Please share this post and help us spread the word! Maybe there’s a family out there who would love a little piece of Ibiza in their lives => a loyal companion to fill their home with love, bring a little sunshine into their days, and remind them every day that the most beautiful souvenirs aren’t things… they’re the lives we change. 🪩 🐶❤️

Help us bring a little Ibiza magic to someone’s home✨🐾

📍 Pet Expo 2026 – National Show Centre, Swords, Dublin
📅 17th–18th October 2026

Together, we can give the abandoned dogs of Ibiza hope for a brighter future. 🐾❤️

A HUGE thank you to Nathan for raising an amazing €289.57 for Ibiza Disco Dogs in memory of beautiful Sam. ❤️🐾

We’re incredibly touched that Sam’s memory has inspired such a wonderful fundraiser. Walking, running and hiking those 140km, sharing our story, and for choosing to support Disco Dogs.

What an incredible effort and we truly appreciate your time, energy, and dedication❤️

Inspired by Sam’s Legacy to do your own fundraiser? We’d love to hear from you! Please get in touch and help us make an even bigger difference together. 🐶🐾

We are incredibly grateful to one of our amazing supporters from Northern Ireland, who is fundraising in memory of his beloved rescue Labrador, Sam. ❤️🐾

After losing Sam in February, Nathan wanted to honour the 12½ wonderful years they shared by giving back to rescue dogs in need.

As a charity run entirely by volunteers, we rely solely on donations to continue rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs across the EU. Every rescue, every vet visit and every journey to a forever home is only possible because of the kindness of people like you.

If you’d like to support this incredible fundraiser in Sam’s memory, every donation—big or small—will make a real difference.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission and for keeping Sam’s legacy alive through kindness. ❤️

🔗 Please donate using the link in our bio/story and help Sam’s owner reach his target! Share this post to help us reach even more people.

It’s Summer, the suns out and temperatures are at there highest ☀️

Preventing overheating is much easier than treating it, so adjusting your dog’s routine on hot days is one of the best ways to keep them safe.

If it’s too hot, they don’t need the walk. They’ll be absolutely fine without it. Stick to early morning or late evening when it’s cooler.

Heatstroke is largely preventable. Don’t let a routine walk turn into an emergency. Keep your dog safe 🐾

"Think a 6ft fence will keep a Podenco in? Think again…"

Podencos are incredible athletes and can clear a 6ft fence from almost a standing start.

If anyone thinks that's an exaggeration, meet Simo!

There was little point putting him in a specific paddock because he would simply hop over the internal fencing and decide for himself where he wanted to be.

So, when a rescue refuses an adoption application because the fencing is considered too low, please don't take it personally.

I completely understand that not everyone wants, or is able, to take on the expense of adding additional fencing. However, our responsibility is to ensure a Podenco doesn't escape, become lost, or suffer a serious injury.

In fairness, over the years very few of our Podencos have actually jumped fences, but is it worth taking the risk?

No, it isn't.

Sometimes rescue decisions can be disappointing, but every requirement we have is made with one thing in mind: keeping these incredible dogs safe.😊
