Pepe lived in a house with 25 other dogs, the house was empty with no human, fed once a day and then left alone.

Many came out terrified of contact and Pepe was one of them.

Just look at his little face, he is around 2 years old and finally learning that humans not scary....

HELP!!

Rex has now been back with me for 1 year. Return by his owners after only 8 months.
Loved and then let down.....

He is 2 next month and this gentle giant is so desperate for love he keeps escaping and getting himself into trouble. He just wants to get to us.

We have a house full of old little ones and it's just not big enough for him too.

It's breaking my heart so I'll try again with another post saying

ANYONE OUT THERE FOR HIM???

Please share, we even have a sponsor who had offered to pay his transport to the UK.

Gentle giant who is good with females and older dogs, anyone that's a tad aggressive and he will try and be the boss.

I have some lovely people in my tiny circle of friends and Tracey and Jason have done something great this past week.

They have managed to get 3 places in Benidorm to take our collection tin.

Tonight they visited The Royale Secret and left my dedicated tin and a little bit of information about what we are and what we do.

Today was a bit of a miracle day for my Moli Moo.

She came into season about 2 weeks ago and it has been an absolute nightmare with Bert and Ernie fighting over her. We kept an eye on Bert but he was always falling over the side of her or bumping the wrong end, it made us laugh until one day last week he managed to find the right end and got stuck.

So of course we had to book Moli in early to be spayed. Bert was booked for today anyway so they went together.

Massive thanks to Cathryn Jane Holmes once again stepping up and taking them both down. They are so in love with each other it's wonderful to see.

I got a call from Marta mid day saying thank goodness we got Moli in as she had Pyometra, a life-threatening bacterial infection of the uterus where the womb fills with pus.

What would have happened had Bert not "got her"? She has always been a sickly doggie so I don't think I would have noticed anything different.

So Bert with your hanky panky you saved Moli's life. Thank you little man.

P.S while he castrated him we cleaned his teeth and confirmed that he does indeed have a broken jaw. We have sent details to the surgeon to see if we can do anything.

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Ruby....

Well my girl it's your day to shine. She is a 7/8 year old German Vizler. Dumped at the shelter after used for breeding, she was just a money machine.

She came to us a skinny thing with scabs all over her face and now look at her. She still lifts her back leg every now and again but mostly uses it, the muscle is starting to build back up.

Her Leish is under control and she will need a tablet a day to keep her immune system strong.

Who is out there to allow this older lady a warm and comfy bed and short walks to keep building up her strength.

Oh I wish someone would step forward and help this boy, I so want to, but my numbers are still too high!!!

Dic is 11 years old and been in the perrera for over 2 months. This sweet boy is friendly and loves to go out for walks. He would love to find his new forever family and start to enjoy the comforts of a home. You can come and meet Dic any morning to see what a great boy he is.

Anyone able to help in Bulgaria with the doggies

2 volunteers are urgently needed in Bulgaria from mid June for 2 weeks to help us out over a difficult period.
It would be brilliant if someone who has been before can come back but I know that might be difficult.
Accommodation and food provided and as many cuddles as you want for free!!

Everyone wish our old lady all the luck with her labour. She is in the best place with Rachel Slade and then when ready she will come and retire with us and enjoy her freedom.

7 little ones join me for coffee.

Pepe is almost ready to find a home, he is coming to me for cuddles whenever I sit down, just need to get the lead on him and try and walk him around.
