ALMENDREHESA, socio del colectivo AlVelAl, ofrece una almendra cultivada en el sureste español mediante agricultura ecológica y regenerativa, donde cada almendro forma parte de un ecosistema que cuidamos para recuperar el suelo, proteger la biodiversidad y construir un futuro fértil para las generaciones que vienen.

SEMBRANDO EL FUTURO | MAIKEL LARA:
En Campo Cámara, Cortes de Baza, Maikel Lara decidió hace más de un lustro apostar por la agricultura regenerativa, cuando muchos lo llamaban loco por querer hacer las cosas de otra manera. Hoy cultiva olivos y almendros con cubierta vegetal, protegiendo el suelo frente a las altas temperaturas y favoreciendo su fertilidad.

Su modelo integra también un rebaño de 50 ovejas, que mediante el pastoreo contribuye a mantener vivo el suelo y reducir la necesidad de fertilizantes. Una práctica que puede suponerle un ahorro de hasta 8.000 euros al año. Habitat es también el nombre de la cooperativa que produce este aceite premiado, entre cuyos miembros y socios están Santiaga Sánchez, Miguel Ángel, Ignacio, Pío Vallés, entre otros. Un trabajo en equipo que está ya dando sus frutos.

Productor y promotor del aceite Hábitat Ecológico Regenerativo y socio de ALVELAL, Maikel representa la constancia de quienes creen en el futuro del campo. Lo que empezó como una apuesta incomprendida se ha convertido en una forma de cuidar la tierra, producir alimentos y sembrar futuro.

In Campo Cámara, Cortes de Baza, Maikel Lara decided almost a decade ago to embrace regenerative agriculture, at a time when many called him crazy for choosing a different path. Today, he grows olive and almond trees using cover crops, protecting the soil from extreme temperatures while helping preserve its fertility.

His model also incorporates a flock of 50 sheep, whose grazing helps keep the soil alive and reduces the need for fertilizers. This approach can save him up to €8,000 a year in fertilizers and soil amendments.

Producer and promoter of Hábitat Ecológico Regenerativo olive oil and a member of ALVELAL, Maikel embodies the perseverance of those who believe in the future of rural areas. What began as a misunderstood experiment has become a way of caring for the land, producing food and sowing the seeds of the future.
