💜 PEMBURY COMMUNITY LARDER – Our Charity Partner for This Year’s Yard Sale 💜
We are delighted to be supporting Pembury Community Larder as our charity partner this year.
Based at Pembury Baptist Church, the Community Larder provides food parcels to local people experiencing hardship, either through direct need or referrals from local organisations and individuals.
As part of the Yard Sale, there will be several collection points across the village where you can donate food items. If you would like to support the Larder, they would particularly appreciate donations of:
🥦 In-date tins of meat, meals, fruit, or vegetables
🫘 Baked beans
🍚 Rice pudding or custard
🥛 UHT milk
🍞 Fresh, in-date bread
Please note that soup and cereals are not needed at the moment.
If you would like to support the Larder throughout the year, donations can be delivered directly on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am and 5pm. The Larder is always incredibly grateful for any support that helps them provide food to those facing difficult circumstances. Please also consider sharing information about the Larder with anyone you know who may be struggling and could benefit from their support.

Refreshments at Kingdom Café
Kingdom Café at Pembury Baptist Church is also supporting the Larder throughout June and has kindly agreed to open from 10am to 2pm during the Yard Sale. Pop in for refreshments while you're out exploring the village.
The café will be accepting food donations for the Larder and can also process cash and card donations in support.
