In Senegal, our Solidarity Optics project is transforming communities while empowering women. Two optics, one in Ziguinchor and the other in Sedhiou, run by local women, provide eye exams and specialized training, creating job opportunities for women and supporting community growth.

By working with local partners, we’re bringing eye care to vulnerable groups and reinvesting profits into initiatives like a daycare center. Every step we take is part of our commitment to sustainable, positive change.

Clear vision is a right, not a privilege. Through our ‘Et mirem als ulls’ program, we provide free eye exams and glasses to at-risk children and families in Spain, helping to combat school failure caused by undetected vision problems.

With the help of UPC University students, who assist with eye exams; Grau del Salvador Seguí students, who assemble the glasses; and HOYA lenses, we ensure every Etnia Barcelona frame reaches those in need.

It’s not just about glasses—it’s about giving kids the power to choose their own frames, providing long-term care through visual therapy, and ensuring better academic opportunities through clear vision.
