Churro, Miel & Caramelo 🥮🍯🍬
Today we are happy to introduce you to these three sweeties on behalf of our friends at .ayuda.bodegueros. But before you ask about adopting, please take a moment to read their story…
Churro, Miel and Caramelo are looking for people who understand what it means to help a dog start from scratch.
The three of them were rescued from an illegal breeding operation and spent much of their lives confined to a single room.
Because of that, many of the things most dogs learn naturally are completely new to them. Walks, lead training, meeting new people, living in a home, even understanding where they should go to the toilet are all things they are only just beginning to discover.
Despite everything, they are making progress every day.
🥮 Churro, the oldest at around 3 years old, is the most confident of the trio. He is curious about the world, enjoys human company and has quickly worked out that cuddles are one of life’s great pleasures.
🍯🍬Miel and Caramelo, both around 7 months old, are a little more cautious. They look to each other for reassurance and gain confidence from being together, which is why .ayuda.bodegueros would ideally like to see at least two of them adopted as a pair.
What these dogs need most is not expertise or perfection. They need patient people who will celebrate the small victories like the first time they choose to approach you, the first successful walk and that most special of firsts: the moment they truly relax and realise they are safe.
We are not looking for impulsive adoptions or people drawn to them simply because of how they look. We are looking for homes that understand that trust takes time, and that the reward for that patience will be watching three little survivors become the dogs they were always meant to be. ❤️🩹
All three are chipped, neutered and up to date with their veterinary care.
