La Fundació Avismón-Catalunya és una entitat sense ànim de lucre que promou el voluntariat social, el suport i l’envelliment actiu de les persones grans. Està regida per un patronat compromès amb l’acció social, un reduït equip de professionals i un gran nombre de persones voluntàries. Som persones que volem acompanyar a la gent gran en el seu procés vital d’envelliment i autocura, essent referents del bon tracte, proper i familiar, en especial atenció a totes aquelles persones que poden sentir-se soles. Som persones que volem empoderar, en la defensa i promoció de l’exercici efectiu dels drets, a les persones grans, com a membres actius en la vida social, econòmica, cultural del lloc de vida que hagin triat. The Avismón-Catalunya Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes social volunteering, support, and active aging for the elderly. It is governed by a board committed to social action, a small team of professionals, and a large number of volunteers. We are people who want to accompany the elderly in their vital process of aging and self-care, being a reference for good treatment, close and familiar, especially attention to all those people who may feel alone. We are people who want to empower, in the defense and promotion of the effective exercise of rights, the elderly, as active members in the social, economic, cultural spheres of our community, the place they have chosen to live.
