September 21: A Day of Reckoning for Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc.

September 21 holds a significant place in the history of the Philippine GUARDIANS Brotherhood, Inc., marking three pivotal "days of reckoning" that shaped the organization's leadership and identity.

The first reckoning occurred on September 21, 2013, in Tacloban City, Leyte, when GS GR**GO, the first National President, was expelled through a NEC Resolution signed by 14 great NEC Members including the three Vice-Presidents for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. He was subsequently replaced by Atty Alvin Rex GS ARAB Bilagot signifying a major leadership change within the organization.

The second reckoning took place exactly five years later, on September 21, 2018. On this day, Engr Melliardine GS MEL Gamet was elected as the new president, replacing GS ARAB after defeating him in the leadership election in Baler, Aurora Province.

The third reckoning was on September 21, 2023, when the old PGBI logo was retired, and a new design was unveiled, symbolizing a fresh chapter for the organization. On this day, the PGBI General Membership during the 18th National Convention in Odiongan, Romblon ratified the insertion of the new logo into the PGBI Constitution and By-Laws, cementing its legality as part of the organization's official laws.

In two days to come on Sepember 21, 2025, we may have some new surprises. I don't have access to future events, so I don't know what surprises might be in store. Please tell me, if you KNOW. - GSM
