💙 On World Transplant Patients Day, we pause to recognize people who have undergone a transplant, their families, the healthcare teams who support them, and everyone who makes this process possible through donation.
For some people living with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), especially patients with myelofibrosis, a bone marrow transplant may be part of the medical pathway.
Today, we share Montse’s story. One year ago, she underwent a bone marrow transplant to treat her myelofibrosis. In this interview, she speaks honestly about returning home, recovery, physical and emotional challenges, family support and everything she has learned along the way.
Her testimony may help patients, families and caregivers who are facing or considering a similar process.
