Last week, our team member Caroline attended the opening event of the Convocatòries de Projectes Socials 2025, hosted by Fundación "la Caixa" () in Barcelona. The event brought together organisations from across Catalunya working with people in vulnerable situations, and it was a good opportunity to meet fellow grantees and mark the start of this year's cycle.

Iguality is proud to be among the selected projects, with our programme Healthy Minds, Strong Communities: Psychosocial Wellbeing for Migrants and Refugees in Barcelona now getting underway across the city. More updates to follow 💙

We recently wrapped up the RISE project with a closing week here in Barcelona 🎉. Zeta joined us from ANCE, our project partner, to mark the occasion. We visited organisations working on the ground as part of the project, including Catnova and Street Soccer Barcelona, and ANCE also took the stage at our annual community event to present at Porsche Digital the project and our collaboration. A great way to close out a project that involved dozens of field-work activities across its lifetime. Thank you, ANCE, for your visit and collaboration! 🙌

Today, on 17 May, we mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. 🏳️‍🌈 Mental wellbeing and acceptance go hand in hand, and at Iguality, we believe everyone deserves access to safe, inclusive mental health support, regardless of who they are or who they love. No one should have to face discrimination or struggle alone.

We're excited to announce our new collaboration with Catnova 🤝 Catnova is a social transformation movement with over 17 years of experience tackling isolation and marginalisation through socio-labour insertion, training, and self-employment opportunities. Through this partnership, we can refer beneficiaries to one another and share training and knowledge — expanding the support available to the people we work with.
