Gasque Sports ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐†๐š๐ฌ๐ช๐ฎ๐ž ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ is a non-profit charity focused on sport for all. I am a Danish citizen and have been living in Lanzarote, Islas Canarias since 1983.

Our vision is to create a level playing field on Lanzarote where every person, regardless of ability, will have the opportunities to achieving success. I have a beautiful wife, Anna Lis, and we have 3 children and 7 grandchildren together. I had a very happy upbringing thanks to my wonderful parents, and it was in this tranquil childhood that my sporting dreams blossomed, back when we were kids an

d played team sports in the schoolyard. We felt free - We felt equal - We felt friendship - We felt loyalty - We felt pride - We felt supported - We felt respect - We felt loved

We were one family

It was a beautiful and emotional moment. Truly heartwarming to see how many people showed up. Your reactions were overwhelming and deeply touching.

Seeing the statue now standing at the place where it truly belongsโ€”the IRONMAN Lanzarote finish areaโ€”made it even more special.
