اختتمت مؤسسة شباب المتوسط فعاليات مشاركتها في برنامج Upscale in ESC 2026 بمدينة طنجة المغربية، والذي جمع أكثر من 30 من العاملين/ات في مجال الشباب وممثلي/ات منظمات المجتمع المدني من دول الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.

شارك يوسف عروج، الرئيس المشارك المنتخب للمؤسسة، في جلسات وورش عمل متخصصة حول تصميم وإدارة مشاريع الفيلق الأوروبي للتضامن (ESC)، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات وبناء شراكات جديدة مع منظمات من مختلف دول المنطقة.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص المؤسسة على تطوير برامجها التطوعية، وتعزيز فرص التعاون الدولي، وإتاحة المزيد من الفرص للشباب/ات للمشاركة في برامج التطوع والتبادل الدولي وفق أعلى معايير الجودة.

MYF has successfully concluded its participation in the "Upscale in ESC 2026" program held in Tangier, Morocco. The event brought together over 30 youth workers and civil society representatives from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENNA) region.

Mr. Youssef Aroog, the elected Co-President of MYF, participated in specialized working sessions and workshops focused on designing and managing European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects. The program also served as a dynamic platform for exchanging expertise and forging new partnerships with organizations from various countries across the region.

This participation aligns with the foundation's dedication to developing its volunteering programs, fostering international cooperation, and creating broader avenues for youth and women to engage in high-quality international volunteering and exchange programs.

إلى البرتغال.. رحلة جديدة لأوروبا مع مؤسسة شباب المتوسط!

في إطار مسارنا "شباب المتوسط على الطريق"، نشارككم/ن رحلة جديدة من التمكين والتبادل الثقافي، حيث يتوجه إلى البرتغال، كلٌ من أ.يوسف عروج، الرئيس المشارك المنتخب لمؤسسة شباب المتوسط، وأ.نادين جاد، منسقة المشاريع والشراكات وتنمية الموارد؛ للمشاركة في مشروع " Sailing together for the future " (الإبحار معًا نحو المستقبل). والذي سيُنفذ ضمن برنامج Erasmus+ التابع للمفوضية الأوروبية، ويُعقد خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 14 يونيو 2026 بمدينة كاستيلو دي فيدي في البرتغال، بمشاركة 30 شابًا وشابة من 14 دولة من ضفتي البحر المتوسط وأوروبا. وسينظم المشروع بالتعاون مع مؤسسة Jograis Audazes – Associação pela Cultura e Desenvolvimento Sustentado،

سيجمع المشروع مشاركين/ات من البرتغال، وإيطاليا، واليونان، وفرنسا، وإسبانيا، وتونس، والمغرب، والجزائر، ولبنان، والأردن، وكوسوفو، ومقدونيا الشمالية، وتركيا، ومصر، في مساحة مشتركة للحوار والتعلم وتبادل الخبرات.

To Portugal.. A new journey to Europe with MYF!

As part of our pathway "Mediterranean Youth on the Road," we share with you a new journey of empowerment and cultural exchange. Mr. Youssef Aroog, the elected Co-President of MYF, and Ms. Nadine Gad, Projects, Partnerships, and Resource Development Coordinator, are heading to Portugal to participate in the "Sailing together for the future" project. Implemented under the European Commission's Erasmus+ program, the project will take place from June 7 to 14, 2026, in Castelo de Vide, Portugal, with the participation of 30 youth and women from 14 countries representing both shores of the Mediterranean and Europe. The project is organized in cooperation with Jograis Audazes – Associação pela Cultura e Desenvolvimento Sustentado.

The project will gather participants from Portugal, Italy, Greece, France, Spain, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Lebanon, Jordan, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Türkiye, and Egypt in a shared space for dialogue, learning, and exchanging expertise.

في إطار مسارنا "شباب المتوسط على الطريق"، تشارك إيزجي كاراكايا، مدافعة عن سياسات المناخ من تركيا، في أعمال اجتماع (SB64) ، في إطار اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ (UNFCCC) ، والمقرر عقده في مدينة بون - ألمانيا، خلال الفترة من8 إلى 18 يونيو 2026.

تأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن جهودنا المستمرة لتعزيز حضور الشباب/ات، في المحافل الدولية الكبرى، ودعم مشاركتهم/ن الفاعلة في صناعة مستقبل أكثر عدالة واستدامة.

يُعد الاجتماع محطة تحضيرية هامة قبيل مؤتمر المناخ COP 31 القادم، حيث يجمع بين الخبراء وصناع القرار والمجتمع المدني من مختلف أنحاء العالم لوضع الأسس العلمية والتقنية للتفاوض المناخي.

As part of our path, “Med Youth on Track”, Ezgi Karakaya, a Climate Policy Advocate from Turkish, is going to participate in the 64th Sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB64), scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 8 to 18 June 2026.

This participation comes as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the presence of youth, at major international forums, and to support their meaningful engagement in shaping a more just and sustainable future.

The meeting serves as an important preparatory stage ahead of the upcoming COP31. It brings together experts, decision-makers, and civil society from around the world to lay the scientific and technical groundwork for climate negotiations.

🌍💡 في وقت التغير المناخي بيأثر على كل تفاصيل حياتنا… الوعي لوحده مش كفاية، لأن الحل الحقيقي بيبدأ من أفكار بتتحول لمشاريع خضراء مستدامة

في اليوم العالمي للبيئة، تحت شعار "الكوكب لا يجادل.. لا يفاوض.. بل يرسل إشارات"، بنفتكر إن مواجهة الأزمة المناخية مش مجرد حديث عن المشكلة، لكن كمان تمكين الشباب/ات من تحويل أفكارهم/ن لمشاريع بيئية مستدامة مؤثرة على الأرض وقابلة للتطبيق 🌱

🌍 ومن أبرز المساحات اللي بتشارك فيها مؤسسة شباب المتوسط و بتنظمها للسنة الثانية على التوالي، مؤتمر LCOY Egypt 2026، اللي هيجمع الشباب/ات المهتمين/ات بقضايا المناخ، وهيفتح الباب قدامهم/ن عشان يشتغلوا على أفكارهم/ن ويطوروها لمشاريع حقيقية تساهم في تقديم حلول مناخية على أرض الواقع.

We are pleased to announce that Youssef Aroog, Elected Co-President of MYF, is travelling to Tangier, Morocco to participate in the regional (Upscale in ESC 2026) programme organized by SALTO EuroMed, bringing together organizations and experts active in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) from the region.

This participation builds upon the Mediterranean Youth Foundation’s longstanding commitment to international volunteering, reflected in its efforts over the years to send and host international volunteers.

During this regional gathering, participants will exchange experiences and good practices on:

✅ International volunteering project management

✅ Volunteer support and mentoring

✅ Enhancing the quality of ESC projects

✅ Building new regional partnerships

✅ Strengthening the role of young people in development and solidarity initiatives
