To leave this many footprints, someone had to hold the ground steady first.

This year's sponsors believed in what Victoris was building, and they stood behind it, from the first conversation to the final round.

The climb doesn't belong to one side. It belongs to everyone who helped make room for it.

Thank you.

How many wrong answers does it take to find the right one?

For Eng. Mahmoud El Badishy, every problem is another chance to think differently, test an approach, and get closer to the solution.

A Software Engineer with production backend experience, he’s never been one to leave a possible solution unexplored, even if it belongs to another track. Eng. Mahmoud is a Codeforces Expert and ECPC 2024 Finalist. He also served as the Coordinator of IEEE CodeRefine 1.0, bringing his experience in problem-solving into a space built around learning and writing better code.

And who better to ask? He brought that experience to CodeRefine in his session “Algorithm & Optimization 2” as a speaker.

What happens when intelligence leaves the screen and starts interacting with the world around it?

For over 5 years, Eng. Omar Sameh has been working at that intersection, combining Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, IoT, Edge AI, and Generative AI to build practical systems that connect intelligent technology with real-world devices and engineering applications.

As a Senior AI & IoT Engineer, he brings a perspective shaped by turning emerging technologies into systems that can actually work beyond the screen.

Now, he brought that experience to Victoris 5 as a judge for IoTPreneur Quest.

Being part of something bigger usually starts with a conversation like this one.

IEEE Membership was part of Victoris 5 for all three days of the event. The talks covered IEEE as a global organization, the importance of its awards for student branches, members, and volunteers, and closed with membership benefits and which type suits different people.

At some point in every team, the conversation stops. Someone spots the fix, and everything else in the room goes quiet around it.

A screen gets closer attention than anyone watching would expect. A sentence gets left unfinished. Hours pass this way, unnoticed by the people inside them.

No one on that stage built it alone.

Long before the first person walked in, other people were already there, deciding to back something they hadn't seen yet.

Setting up rooms that would later hold hundreds, checking, rechecking, making sure a hundred small things worked so no one watching would ever have to notice them.

Thanks for all.

Not every path leads to the finish.

The challenge is to make the right decision, choose the optimal path, and move faster with every turn.

To win, you have to stay one step ahead.

One maze. Countless decisions.

An idea hides behind a wall of doubt.

In the noise of reason and circuits and untested plans, some ideas stay as they are.
And some are built to survive contact with reality.

IoTPreneur is where the physical world speak.

The last stretch of the greatest.

Today is that stretch.

Whatever's been built stands as it is. Whatever's left to decide, gets decided now.

This is the final ascent.
