FACE for Children in Need FACE’s mission is to assist and protect orphans, street children, their families and communities.

فيس للأطفال في احتياج هي منظمة غير ربحية مصرية. تأسست عام 2003 في القاهرة، مصر، بهدف المساعدة وحماية الأيتام والأطفال المهجورين وأطفال الشوارع وأسرهم ومجتمعاتهم بغض النظر عن عرقهم أو ثقافتهم أو دينهم.
تعتمد مؤسسة فيس على التبرعات والمنح لتمويل برامجها بما في ذلك برامج التعليم والصحة وحماية الطفل وتنمية المجتمع.

Medical & Health Day for Young Street Mothers & Babies (A New Phenomenon)

At FACE, we support young mothers and their babies living on the streets. Through our clinic inside the Salam Center, we provide medical screening, care and support.

Recently, we organized a Medical & Health Day, reaching 21 young mothers and 44 children.

• 44 medical check-ups
• 15 children received treatment
• 13 hygiene kits, 13 cans of infant formula and 220 diapers, 95 meals provided, with clothes and toys distributed, all thanks to donations

Medical screenings identified malnutrition, vitamin and iron deficiencies, congenital heart defects, pneumonia, gastrointestinal and skin conditions and umbilical hernia, with some cases requiring further follow-up.

At FACE, we continue to care for very vulnerable mothers and children living in street conditions.

كما نتوجه بالشكر إلى الدكتورة سحر السنباطي المجلس القومي للطفولة والأمومة على دعمهم وتقديرهم لهذا الإنجاز

في فيس، نعمل على دمج الأطفال في المجتمع وتمكينهم من الاعتماد على أنفسهم، ليتمكنوا من بناء مستقبل أفضل يملؤه الكرامة والفخر

We extend our sincere thanks to our main partner, Emaar Misr, for their continuous support in helping FACE children achieve their dreams and represent Egypt at the Street Children World Cup 2026 in Mexico, where they proudly achieved third place.

We also thank Dr. Sahar El-Sonbaty and the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood for their recognition and support.

At FACE, we work to integrate children into society with full independence and empower them to build a future of dignity and pride.

During Eid Al-Adha, we were honored to welcome H.E. Governor Hossam El-Deen Ahmed Abd ElFattah, Governor of Qalyubia, accompanied by Dr. Eman Rayan, Deputy Governor; Major General Mohamed Aql, Assistant Secretary General and Ms. Omaima Refaat, Director of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Qalyubia.

The children warmly welcomed the guests with handmade gifts and proudly showcased their products. They also performed a fitness show and concluded the visit with a collective song performed by both boys and girls.

He praised the children’s handmade crafts and artwork, highlighting the importance of nurturing their talents in a safe and supportive environment.

The visit left the children feeling proud and appreciated as their creativity and efforts were recognized.

We extend our sincere gratitude for their visit and continued support.

We were honored to host the FACE for Children in Need Charity Run at Uptown Cairo, presented by and organized by under the slogan:

Run… Because Every Child Deserves a Home.

It was a privilege to welcome distinguished guests, including H.E. the Minister of Youth & Sports and H.E. the Ambassador of the UAE to Egypt.

With over 1,000 participants of all ages, this was more than a run, it was a movement for every child’s right to a loving home.

Since 2014, , FACE initiated the national to reforms to strengthen Egypt’s foster care system, including policy development, lowering the minimum foster age, creating unified procedures, training foster families and launching the first National Kafala Center on May 2024.

Every step taken brought us closer to a future where every child grows up with care, dignity and family.
