How often we spend quality times away from life's distractions? As human beings it's not a balance to isolate ourselves from life or society or to live in a cave or a forest away from our kind, but it's also not a balance to be drowned in the endless distracting factors of the modern life's nature. A time with a friend that you feel comfortable with, a quality time with your spouse, or a time with your kids away from mobile phones, a forgotten hobby that has been buried for years, this is not luxury, it is a time that we should choose to spend between our busy times for our souls to breath!

Do it here, at home, or anywhere available to you 💜 choose the easiest! Remember: simplicity choice should be an easy choice 🍁 also a reminder: ease doesn't contradict taking responsibility 🌿

Peace, love, happiness... are not final stations to be reached and then the journey ends, but sometimes they are ongoing outcomes of contentment, and faith, and they also are ongoing inner interactions imbedded in the details we regularly live as if they were light renewal spots on the road 💌

Our Planting Workshop for Beginners is happening this weekend 💜

🗓️ Friday, 6 March.
🕰️ 8:30 to 10:30 PM.
📍 Maadi.

We will practice to plant with our hands, have a tea together while learning how to take care of what we just planted at home 🌿 Plus we will guide you to take care of your plant for 3 complete months ✨

In addition to the joy and fun of a plant growing before our eyes, it shows us God's creation being formed in slow motion, living this experience teaches us how to care, how to love, and also to appreciate our caregivers who were patient putting their attention to help us throughout our lives 🦋

Simple life doesn't mean to get rid of what we love, it means getting rid of what we don't really want and we might think that we love! Simplicity is to take off the alien objects we burdened our shoulders with, this doesn't mean to abdicate your responsibilities towards yourself or others, it means to clean your inner self from weights that were never yours, in a simple way.

I say: complicating the way to simplicity erases simplicity! That's why sometimes it's more about doing less than making efforts, it all happens at Naseem, and as much as I want to make this a "marketing post" I genuinely love to see myself and everyone light, breathing, alive, real, calm, steady, and happy! I believe in the displacement theory, when we focus on knowing that life doesn't really need to be "busy & successful" all the time, no suffocation of impressing others should be there, when you take off your shoes and roam around the space, who really cares?! When you smile without a fear, when you get rid of what others might or might not think of you,... when we do this, many burdens start to fall without noticing, sometimes it's difficult but we made it easy so we can live it together here, confidently and comfortably.

When you are here you can see simplicity through our eyes, a hanging plant, a little cozy corner, a space to laugh, cook, meditate, draw, relax, read, play, and feel breathable, waring same clothes every time, sit on ground when you want to, eat whatever you like, letting go of stuff we don't use regularly, saying no gently without feeling guilty, ask a friend for a favor openly, feeling free from the urging need to justify everything, understanding what it's been said as it is without complicating or overthinking about it,... simplicity means to practice behaving and communicating naturally, freely, clearly, away from assumed thoughts and doubts, without hiding our real wants, considering reasonable customs for sure but away from being incapable because of how others may judge us, when we start acting this way, burdens will be automatically displaced and replaced by simplicity, our true nature!
